180 hours and on 2nd play through (plus just finished the book...the book really brought things together for me) There is a book and the book makes the game better? Mass Effect - Andromeda: Nexus Uprising www.amazon.com/Mass-Effect-Andromeda-Nexus-Uprising/dp/1785651560You get to see things from Sloane's and other characters' perspective and get to see how the exiles became exiles. I enjoyed the book and it made me have some sympathy for Sloane that I didn't have before I read the book.

I think that initially it was supposed to be released before the game (in November 2016?). I wish it was! I heard that it's a great introduction to the game.

I'm tapping out today. 122 hours. I arrived at Kadara hoping for something interesting with finding the Nexus rebels and beginning the search for the Archon. Had a conversation with Sloane; talked to the Angara that ratted out the Moeshe and now it's back to the desert to shoot things and search Kett ruins. I just can't do that again. I've had 3 planets of mind numbing box checking to the point I almost forgot why I went. I realized I was beginning to not look forward to my gaming time. So, I'm stopping for now. I might come back in a week or so to it. My review so far would be C. Combat, crafting and Nomad exploration, B+. Overall tone, writing and characters? D-. Going to start my replay of the Witcher trilogy. Cheers.

I must admit that I am having a hard time finishing my first playthrough. I haven't been on Elaaden yet but the absolute drive to play this game is long gone. I do still want to continue exploring and seeing what the story holds but my time behind a computer is limited thanks to real life stuff, and I also have plenty of other games to play. Therefore less and less time is spend on MEA unfortunately. That's a reall bummer for me because I've actively waited 5 years for this game but now that I have it I'm not even immersed enough to not play other RPG's next to it. Which, for me, is a bad thing because that means I'll soon entirely shift my attention to these instead of ME:A. Atleast, that's what I normally do. I want to finish ME:A but everytime I sit behind my computer I fire up something else...

Thinking about stopping. I'm close to the end game and right now I'm tying up loose ends in regards to side quests. This damn planet hopping back and forth is getting annoying.

Maybe about 40 hours in, I decided that I was just going through the motions of the game and decided to take a break and I haven't gotten back to it in about 3 weeks. I don't know, it just feels so much like boring chores and characters I cannot care less about that I've lost all motivation to play the game. Has anyone else got the same feeling? Yep. Didn't even finish it. I took a break. Lost interest. Then Persona 5 came out. I was like, "Fuck ME:A!" as soon as that hit the shelf. There are so many patches on the way. I'll wait them all out. Bet they won't fix a damn thing with CC though.

I Think the game is too big, you loose interest in the main story with all the side stories. IMO there is enoght side-content to make two games and they distract you from the main plot which eventually leads one to loose interest in the game. I took a small paus too and for a second playthrough i´ll probably wait for most of the DLCs to be released. Yeah, you can allways skip side quests but i like to complete those to except for the fetch quests.
A good game should not force you to play more than 50-75 hours, when it takes more than that it becomes like a real World job... :-P

I'm waiting for mainly bug fixing patches (missions that can't be done otherwise, sound issues etc.) before I do a 2nd run, also hoping the 1st SP DLC will be ready by then too. Until then it's forum and discussion time.

Only because its still school holidays and if I keep playing I'll trigger a sex scene.
And that will be the moment my kid wakes up and walks into the room without knocking.

I might spend 2 hours alone testing weapons in the field. Just finished trying different takes on the Cyclone (aka Hellcat Mk1, 2 and 3). If I finally get this right, I'll be using two AR's for special occasions.

I only stopped part way through my second playthrough because other games came out and there's only so much time in the day. I plan to get back to it eventually.

I'm still playing. I admit at first I was focusing mostly on MP but after I finally hit Level 50 in Single Player everything became much more interesting Mass Effect: Andromeda is one of those games it may take some time to shine but once you reach certain levels it's indeed very fun. I can't stop playing it both single player and MP

On my third playthrough, about 217 hours in. I'd say 90% of the content is done, and I stopped. I knew the third playthrough would be my last, I just didnt think I would quit so close to the end of it (Just need to go to Le Meredien hotel). I was fooling around with ME1 and applied a texture mod. I tested it out and before I knew it I was playing that and not MEA.

Going to start my replay of the Witcher trilogy. Cheers. I will say that Elaadin is pretty awesome if you can make it there. You sound like my good friend who had to do Every question mark in Witcher 3 and comb through every detail in the first area of Horizon Zero Dawn. I imagine with MEA that can burn you out with the pacing. I would play the game almost like ME1 was meant to be played. Some people just can't be saved or helped. Pick and choose what missions, quests, or requests seem most important to you at that moment and don't feel like you can't leave a planet until everything is done. You'll get to a point later in the game where it makes sense to travel back and forth between planets doing quests as you come across them even after the main campaign. Just a suggestion. And if you haven't played Zelda BOTW yet, completely worth picking up a switch or even a cheap used Wii U

And if you haven't played Zelda BOTW yet, completely worth picking up a switch or even a cheap used Wii U I wouldn't recommend Zelda BOTW if someone has issues with pacing in MEA. In BOTW the pacing is all over the place. For example, a short hop from the third village you visit are two shrines with bosses in them were you literally can't have enough weapons to defeat them because your inventory space is too low and you can't just hit the main story beats because stamina is frustratingly low until you do about 40 of the shrines.

I just recently finished the game, and I didn't have that desire to immediately start up another game. I may pick it back up after some patches and DLC. But usually if I really like I game, I'm already planning what I'm going to do on my next playthrough while I'm doing the current one. Didn't get that with this game.

I'm not doing a second PT until I finish Nexus Uprising, which I just picked up. I'm playing some MP though, trying hard to git gud and spectacularly failing at it. So no, no stop from yet, nor anytime soon.

I finished the game after putting in 87 hours. I see no reason to do a second playthrough, until Bioware adds all the patches they plan to within the next few months.

Haven't touched the Campaign for a good couple of weeks I think I'm a little shy of 20hours and I just established my first outpost on Eos.
I played MP a few days ago, seem to play that more.
I can't say why I've stopped I was super hyped for the game as I really enjoy the Mass Effect series. I enjoy what I've played so far and I've been meaning to get back to it but haven't yet. I go to continue on with it tend to go to the MP instead. Perhaps I'm just enjoying the other games that I'm playing.
