Good to see another Marcurio fan  He's my favourite vanilla Skyrim partner, snark and all. Also a Marcurio fan. Closest thing to Zevran in Skyrim. I don't remember what his name was anymore but I married this Nord from the bar in Markath and he was my Dragonborn's companion for the longest time... until I accidentally killed him in battle against Ancano. It was quite sad and whenever I returned to Winterhold his naked body would just lay there on the floor reminding me of what I had done.  |

Okay, this is tough, but this is my final decision: DA:O - Alistair (although I really love my Zevran too!)  DA:2 - Fenris (no question about it) DA:I - Solas (even though the egg shred my heart he is still the best) </3 ME2&3 - Garrus (I really liked Thane too, but Garrus just owns it like he does most things) I would die on the inside if I was forced to pick only one! |

DA:O - my canon male elf Warden is with Zevran, but I enjoyed hardened Leliana romance as well
DA2 - the only game where I actually have only one favorite romance - Isabela (friendship path)
DA:I - The Iron Bull (canon) and Josephine (as non-canon romance option for some of my Inquisitors)

DAO: Zevran. He's extremely devoted once you win his loyalty, he goes out of his way to cheer you up when you're feeling sad, etc. DA2: Fenris. I had very little say in this; Hawke fell in love and I was just along for the ride. But he's fiercely loyal and that counts for a lot. DAI: Sera. My precious, my beautiful wife, light of my life, bane of my breeches... she got a cute booty, a sweet smile, and she's so used to being tossed aside like trash that when you treat her like the treasure she is, she's overwhelmed. Actually, that could probably be said for ^those two^ as well. I- I think I have a type. (I have an elf problem.) Runners-up are Morrigan, Isabela, Iron Bull, Dorian, and Blackwall. Depends on the character I'm playing.

Did somebody mention Marcurio? He's my Skyrim favourite!
DAO: Zevran, and had it been possible, I would've loved to romance Soris! I love that ginger. DA2: Fenris, Fenris, Fenris. Fenris for the win; I absolutely adore his voice, and his personality too. I have a thing for grim, broody elves... : DAI: Solas and Dorian, although to be fair, I've only romanced those two plus Cullen. But so far Solas has taken (and broken...) my heart, all the way. I also have an elf problem, it seems.

I found Zevran's romance to be one of the better ones I enjoyed. It starts off as "friends with benefits" then evolves into something deeper. We see a whole new side to the assassin as he begins to show real emotions toward the Warden, and attempts to run away from his own feelings because of how foreign love is to him. You can even end up engaged to him and he remains with you through all 3 games!
Fenris I found was a misunderstood romance and my personal fav. He's actually not all "brooding" like Varric teases. I found him to have very dry humor and come across as almost playful in his banter once he's warmed up to the group, and like Zev, he is amazingly loyal to my Hawke if you stick with him even after he pushes you away.
Solas has got to be one of the most amazing romances written though, and you get to play an Inquisitor who romances someone that directly affects the story! Cullen is my second fav because we get to see the darker side to being a Templar and become his rock that keeps him stable. Once through the bad stuff, he is the prince charming every girl dreams of marrying! Blackwall is my 3rd fav because his whole story arc and completion in Trespasser is very fulfilling!

You would think he would just sleep with next guy or girl who caught his eye based on his personality, but even Hawke can't flirt with him if he's with the Warden! I also loved the epilogue in DAA when it implies the Warden and Zev met up in Antiva and in DAI the HOF sends me a letter and says Zev is at her side seeking a cure. Took me a new playthrough of Witch Hunt recently to realize Morrigan's gift was probably the HOF's cure she's now seeking lol |

Loved his attitude and the fact that he hadn't been hit with the ugly stick like most of the male romance options in Skyrim. That Rogi Knot Beard guy was kind of cute but he seemed like a dim bulb compared to snarktastic Marcurio. |

I don't do romances in either DA2 or DA:I because 1) they aren't satisfactory to my tastes, and 2) lack of variety (I'm the kind of person whose accused of having too much variety if you catch my meaning.)
For all intents and purposes, my Hawke has a thing for Tallis.
My Inquisitor is too busy flirting with Queens and Ladies to really notice anyone in particular.

Morrigan remains pretty much my favourite BioWare romances to this day out of the ones that I've seen. It is definitely in that "canon" category for a male Warden imo. I found her romance and Solas' both end the same way too, yet one is happier lol you seek them out and they leave through an Eluvian, except Lavellan can't follow but your Warden can, and Morrgina and Solas give you a gift that saves your life, except one is a book the other is well... you know lol |

Morrigan remains pretty much my favourite BioWare romances to this day out of the ones that I've seen. Morrigan is good, but I like the more hopeful characterization with Leliana, and how she grows to be something stronger. Morrigan just gets too preachy sometimes. As for what I think is the BW romance, I'd put Bastila from KotOR as BW's best written/executed romance in regards to how it fits into the story, and Miranda Lawson as my favorite romance with how I can characterize my Shepard. I'll also be the first to say that I'm a bit of a bastard when it comes to the LI's in DA:2 and DA:I. I like the more conventionally attractive female characters, and the characters in both games simply don't mesh with my sensibilities, so I tend to avoid them. |
