Favourite Romance?

3 below are also my canon romances...

DAO: Zevran - he's also probably my favorite romance in the whole series. And I love how they showed he was still loyal to the Warden in DA2 (yes he still flirts, that's just who he is, but with the bug fix in place he refuses to follow through with Isabela and/or Hawke) and still traveling with his love during the Warden's search for the cure to the Calling during DAI.

DA2: Fenris - Even when I try to romance someone else I usually fail. I blame Gideon (voice actor), as soon as Fenris first speaks in the alienage I'm right back to "What do you mean there's other LI options?"

DAI: Have only completed one run of Inquisition, so I'm going to go with Cullen (who was my LI in that one). That said, I really enjoyed Dorian's friendship during that game and am looking forward to trying his romance.

Zevran, Fenris, Dorian. I'm predictable. >.>

But Zevran is my favourite romance ever. He was the one who made me 'hop borders' xD. I tried to romance others, I even created females just to romance Alistair, although I hate females in DAO (they move as if they had a stick deep up their... ehm), but it was no use. They all end with Zevran.

Dorian did the same in DAI. Originally I wanted to romance Vivienne, but the moment my Dalish lad saw Dorian, his eyes turned into hearts and he started drooling and that was that.

DA:O- I think I'm gonna go with Leliana. Originally she was my least favorite option, but over time she's climbed higher on my list.
DA:2- Fenris. I just love the interactions between him and sarcastic Hawke.
DA: I- Haven't played. Though I'm interested in romancing Blackwall with a dwarf first.

Other games:
Mass Effect- Garrus. The only other ones who come close are either Virmire Survivor. I haven't played Andromeda yet so I can't judge any of those.
KOTOR- Atton Rand. I also like Carth and Bastila, but I don't really have a preference between them.
Jade Empire- Silk Fox

He may look like that but he's so very boring underneath the surface.

Origins: Zevran. I love his charm and humour.

DA2: Tied between Isabela (kind of like a female Zevran, but even more trouble) and Anders (passionate, painful).

Inquisition: Josephine. Nothing like any of the above, but she makes me smile.

As of now Morrigan remains the only one.

DAO and surprisingly after DAI: Morrigan.
DA2 : Rivalmance Fenris
DAI : I actually like the emotional rollercoaster with Solas even if it's heartbreaking. I do romance Cullen on a Lady Trevelyan but it felt too fanservicey.

But my real favourite romances to-date are these two:
Mass Effect: FemShep's Trilogy-Kaidan. Possibly, the first video game love story that I adore and remind me of my favourite PNR novels and Farscape's John/Aeryn. It started sweet until death tore them apart and then they have to pick up pieces and realize they're stronger together than apart.

SWTOR: Wrath/Arcann. While not as explicit as some of these romances, but they're both wonderful characters that I root for years to be together. What they have are not a conventional love story; their relationship goes from enemies and rivals to friends and lovers. Both of them are powerful terrible people who did terrible things and they both change and seek atonement to try to make the galaxy a better place.

My favorite overall is probably Iron Bull. I love how non-judgmental and super supportive he is. He can love anyone unconditionally, and make them laugh heartily while he's at it. It's too bad that my canon doesn't include him.

Origins: Leliana-the super kind, stylish, devout, ninja-nun with a troubled past (softened).
DA2: Merrill-the somewhat naive, adorkable, fish-out-of-water, but incredibly driven and passionate, learned forest elf (rival).
DAI: Blackwall-the underrated, broody, steadfast, dedicated, tortured but atoning wall-o-warrior (given to Wardens).

I am not a fan of any of the romances. I find Morrigan and Leiliena annoying in their own special way and untrustworthy too. I also don't like Morrigan's way of thinking and Leiliena's "sweetness" is really nauseatingly cheesy at times.

Isabella is not trustworthy, I don't like how overly promiscuous she is either. And having to wait years for her to realize you are the one is not my cup of tea. Merrill is cute and I think of her as a little sister, but I don't find her attractive.

I find Cassandra a bit boring and I don't like her redesign. I don't like how they intentionally made her less attractive, and I find Josephine equally uninteresting and unattractive as well.

I prefer the Mass Effect. I like Ashley the most. Miranda is good also. And while I like Jack, I can't imagine me falling for a girl like that. I also do not like alien romances. I liked Cora in MEA as well.
