They aren't impressive.
Their ships look stupid.
Nobody feels anything for them as an enemy.
They are uninteresting.
We know virtually all we needed to about them already.
Theres no real reason to keep fighting them other than 'They still want to fight you.'
We've beaten them.
Can we call the Kett defeated?
Or at the least have them relegated to some minor faction that got too cocky and spent 75 years failing to conquer Angara?
Make "The real enemy" someone worth fighting.

Why is the poll missing from this post? In any case, no. There's still a lot of unknowns where the Kett are concerned. Dropping them would just leave an unanswered mystery. No point in doing that when they can be fleshed out or improved.

OK, so who are the Kett? Where did the come from? They are Kett. They come from Nearby cluster. Next question. That told me next to nothing. There's no evidence to support your assertion that they come from a nearby cluster. Could be the come from a far off cluster and have been exalting their way in the direction of Heleus. Fact is, we don't really know what they're all about. The Moshae raises some great questions about what it means to defeat the Kett. We haven't done that. There's no reason to think they'll back off. Their job will be more difficult, sure, but then that just means they have to send greater numbers to conquer the Heleus Cluster. I get that you don't like them, and that's valid, but I think there's a lot more to learn about them.

I think we should wrap up our conflict with them in one of the coming DLC expansions, but other than that, I agree OP. They're a fairly generic villain and I'd like to see what the rest of Andromeda has to offer in terms of new and exciting enemies.

(You know what they do and why already) We dont go there because they kill us. We'll call it it the Geth protocol. Or the Batarian solution. We don't want a war with them so we agree to stay away.

No. I'd like to see what their senate is like. I'm curious about whether or not there would be some kind of disagreement within their society about how it sustains its population. I want to see a vassal species or two outside of the angara. I don't need some "deep" mystery behind them for them to be engaging. The last time we got a deep mystery about an enemy faction, it ended up being total bullshit (the reapers).

Nah. Keep them. They're an empire and interested in Heleus. They're not beaten, they've changed leadership. Whether that means you run into them at every damn Remanent site from here on out is another matter, but they will continue to attempt to exalt the whole cluster. It's what they do.

I don't kett about them in the least. How about an enemy that's not humanoid and not the same size as us? It doesn't need to be Reaper tall, but something more like Geth Prime tall on average, not humanoid. I would like to face a race like that, as main enemies.

Whatever else is added, the Kett really have to be there anyway, because an empire doesn't just disappear all of a sudden. It'd be like if the qunari or the Imperium suddenly vanished off the face of Thedas.

Why get rid of the Kett? They are somehow like the collectors, but them got just one base, destroyed, done. Kett are an empire, done right, this could be interesting.

I always thought that there was a fair amount of untapped potential in the batarians, but the games just had them be dicks most of the time, even when there were some sympathetic batarians littered about. Heck Garrus got to have a batarian squad member and we never did. What a shit.

No, because they are too damn important to the new lore they are trying to establish. Should a few changes be made? Sure, but don't get rid of them altogether. One thing bioware gets criticized for is over correcting and throwing the baby out with the bath water and that is exactly what you are calling for OP. Now I like you OP since you are a Krogan but not everything is so damn black and white that everything needs to be changed 100 percent. Whatever happened to fixing something instead of throwing it out completely?

the kett have a massive empire. This was just them in one cluster and tearing it apart. there are multiple archons and this was just a small amount of their real forces. It would be a little like saying soverign is all the reapers

It would be a little like saying soverign is all the reapers If the Kett really are a massive galactic or possibly even intergalactic empire this is just going to end up the same way as the Reapers did with no real way to win outside some stupid deus ex machina ending. 100,000 Milky Way orphans and what remains of the Angara against a Galaxy spanning empire of billions or trillions of Kett? Its the Reapers all over again with a no way to win conventionally outcome. I hope we end the Kett threat in a DLC, cut off their avenue of coming to Heleus or whatever, but if we spend 3 games fighting to bring down the Kett just to have a Star Child pop up in the last 5 minutes of the last game and tell us "nope you either all become Kett or die", well, Bioware would deserve whatever they get after that.
