Even though Anthem is not going to be a traditional bioware rpg, I am just glad that bioware is getting back some love out there. Its been a long long time since there has been a positive vibe about bioware.
That Anthem gameplay is already nearly 4 mil views with less than 5 percent dislikes.

The only little concern that people have out there is that its going to get downgraded. I don't think thats going to happen though and that will become the selling point of this game .Frostbite can hold its own. We have seen it in battlefront and battlefield 1.

If the concern is that literally no one will get as good a visual experience as shown in the trailer, I'm not worried. He's not saying there's no commitment to an entertaining story, idiot! He's saying that they aren't going for hard science justification for what's going on in the story. Technology and supernatural effects might go unexplained, or be more lightly/loosely explained than in ME. That's it.

What qualifications does a writer need to write tripe like that? Episilon-minus semi-moron status?

(As an aside, I have to laugh at the characterization of ME as "hardcore science fiction." Because, eezo is right up there with GR and QFT for explaining the universe, lol.)

You know, one time I chastised another badly written article in Reddit, and it turned out the author of the article was the one that posted it. He was a pretty good sport about me crapping all over his bad writing.

Anthem could turn out to be internally consistent. I actually think part of the problem with Mass Effect was that they got really wonky trying to have it both ways, both chasing rule of cool and offering a smattering of hard science justifications. This could just mean that Anthem is going to be playing by its own rule set.

I don't think so, MEA's marketing was considered "poor" by lot people but it make sense with the troubled development of that game. We saw full gameplay demo of MEA around 2-3 months before release. For Anthem they had 6min right out of the bat, you can tell they are confident about the game especially the praise they got from the industry and gamers. They will market Anthem very heavily and possibly an open beta later this year.

Leaks are going happen from the "usual suspects" but it doesn't really matter because we don't know much about the game's world. If it's anything like destiny/division it just going to be a fun world to be in and they even pointed out it's space-fantasy in line with star wars which is... lot of "space magic". Game play/specification leaks probably more concrete tho.

Bah... even youtube trolls seem to have been impressed. I've been there to see it happening live - when the teaser was published, at some point the amount of dislikes and sneering comments was threatening to overwhelm everything else - after the demo was published, the bile suddenly stopped. I could almost see from tone of comments that pretty much everybody seemed to be stumped. Then the like ratio just kept groooowing.
