This was totally expected. As GM, the buck stops with him. The failure of MEA, imo, lies at his feet. As many of us said and the game magazines too, MEA was a do or die proposition for Bio.

Plus, Hudson is back? Wan't Casey responsible for the ME3's ending fiasco?..... 'cause some time later he left too.

I wish him better luck this time around.

1st, I'm talking about the game as a success or not story and not personnel drama, when I mentioned do or die. It's all about The Game. I, game magazines and others have said early... before MEA was announced, that ME4 had to be a "home run" for Bio to get their ME Mojo back after ME3's ending fiasco. Personnel mobility, for whatever reason, is irrelevant....well, Casey left because his "artistic integrity" bs failed to appease the fans' ire.... perhaps he was encouraged to leave... I don't know.

And, according to Kotaku, MEA personnel left because, imo, the GM failed to control the situation. It is, after all, the GM's overall responsibility. I've been in upper mgt so I know how things are done when the proverbial shyte hits the fan. Aaryn leaving  3-4 months after a "failed" launch is quite typical of mgt firings. At that level, one "leaves" instead of being fired.  For example: Hitler gave his favourite general (Rommel) the choice of facing a firing squad or taking a poison pill. The general took the pill. Anyway, if you read the trade magazines, you should know how thing go.

Now Hudson is back. Believe you me that Anthem is a MUST for him... to show EA he can do the job. I doubt very much he gives a rat's azz about a game that got Aaryn fired... Casey can't do anything about it at this stage, anyway. Plus, Casey, was not hired to look after MEA.

Well, For me, ME:A was Aaryn's Waterloo.   As to Casey, his "artistic integrity" bs and his ME3 ending is forever etched in my mind.
