Any word on when the next patch is due out?

Thats what i expect as well. Infact I really would not be surprised if they just focus on the mp for micro transactions and abandon the single player completely. Oh well hopefully other companies create some new sci fi rpgs as i still feel cyberpunk is a couple of years away.

I have yet to finish a sarcastic Hawke PT. Yes, I KNOW!
I did diplomatic (mage) and two years ago aggressive Hawke (rogue). Both female. VERY different experiences. Asshole anger issues Hawke pissed everyone off so much that she even got rivalry points from Varric when being nice for a change and making gifts, it was hilarious.

I abandoned sarcastic male archer because of other games back in the release year. Always meant to go back and romance Isabela with him...

DA2 had the best companion system and adaptive auto-dialogue which was frankly brilliant imo. Bioware should have used it as a blueprint for all future games. Still heart-broken that Hawke didn't return because of backlash. At least I heard s/he was supposed to be the new Shepard. Instead we got the doormat inquisitor..... *sigh*

I can't wait to play Mark of the Assassin with sarcastic Hawke. Even the aggressive answers are very funny. The whole DLC is a total trip.
Ah man, Hawke... especially Jo Wyatt. I almost cried when it was announced she voiced Ciri.

DAI would have been ten times better with Hawke as the protagonist. That cameo was so painful, seeing more spark in those ten minutes than the inquisitor had the entire game.

Shit, I might have to fire up that game this weekend...

I don't play MP, but from what I understand, both MP/SP share the same powers and weapons.  I'm pretty sure it's all balanced around MP so SP suffers from the same limitations.

I stand corrected on weapons then.  I played nothing but adept on my PT and Biotics start becoming weak around level 40+ and don't scale well.  Not a big deal if you play on normal or lower.

It's hard to get hyped on Bethesda. If anything, I'll get my own hype by watching some live streams and waiting for the unofficial patches and fixes. Because you know Bethesda... It's going to look great once the development cycle is done and the modding community is in full swing.

Deus Ex franchise has gotten benched again. There iss a good reason i have stated both MEA and DXMD are similar in nature. Both games had decent combat but otherwise lacklustre, the games weren't received or reviewed well, sales were low and end up getting the franchise benched. Thats why if Mass effect gets benched it will not be surprising to me as MEA is not just a one off or have we all forgotten the ME3 ending debacle?

Now if people blame EA they are mistaken, MEA issues are all self inflicted. Daft design decisions and bad project management. These are all on Bioware and not on EA. Thats why patching cannot really improve the game much as a lot of the flaws are design/management related and you cannot patch those away. Two ways forward, either EA cleans house gets proper management oversight and determines to learn from MEA and make sure next game is better or and a more likely one is just focus on the MP portion, make some cash via micro transactions, put Montreal studio as support dev for other studios and bench the franchise.
