Still having trouble finding armor values of enemies on gold, there are way too many values. The shield value was actually 1 of 7 possible values.

Thanks for these awesome tests. Any chance you could look at remnant weapons vs armor? While they get a buff against shields it feels like they do less damage vs yellow bars. Beyond the typical -10/20 dr. My equalizer feels like it's shooting bubbles against armored targets, while non remnant rapid firing weapons don't seem to suffer as much. Thanks for all the hard work!

Cool thanks for the response. Maybe the lower weak point multiplier was the culprit, but it sure felt like the equalizer was a bit worse against armor compared to similar weapons. Great job on all the testing.

I only tested it against a raider and it had the standard 1.65 headshot multiplier. I'd be surprised if it had any other properties but maybe it could.

It looks like HP and Armor are actually the same thing. In other words, nobody has both armor and hp (assumption) and they use the same function for both. The script I created successfully retrieves values when attacking something that has armor.

The code that I hooked affects the player's shields/hp as well, so I have a convenience thing in there that you can put in your own shield/hp addresses so you don't spam your log with your own stats. This is part of the lua. Or, leave it if you are testing damage to yourself.

I'm trying now to figure out more information about how the data structures are organized. I mean, I am assuming there is some logic to how they coded it and there is something that will resemble a "Player" structure that has hp, shields, armor, skill list, weapon equipped, etc etc. Just gotta find it.

I'd be happy to try to teach/help. Fun to learn this stuff.

Hopefully the CT file works for you guys. It saves boatloads of time for me hehe.

My workflow now is...

Activate HP log
Activate Shield log
Take some damage to shields - notice my own shield address - manually add to address list - activate to freeze value.
*optional - modify script to ignore logging to my shield address, add it, deactivate old script, activate new script.
Then just start shooting stuff and seeing all the damage numbers pop up.

I'm not going to be able to contribute much test data any time soon, but I was hoping you testers might be willing to target a few things for the stats sheets I've been working on for peeps.

1. Although weakpoint multiplier mechanics are poorly understood, addition weapon and enemy specific data would be fantastic.
2. Also, hard(er) data on weapon reload times without cancelling animation and with cancelling animations, would be massively appreciated.
3. Any additional weapon modifiers for armor types, I know about the 1.25 multiplicative for Katana vs. armor, and 1.15 multiplicative modifier for PAW, Equalizer and Shadow against shields, just encouraging y'all to keep 'em rolling.
4. Details on what guns have and what guns do not have the ability to hit weakpoints. I'm thinking that the Falcon doesn't hit weakpoints, for example (I could just be a bad shot tho).

Also, I understand this testing is time-consuming and a pain in the a**, so I just want to let you testers know that we all really appreciate what you are doing and we thank you very much! Keep up the great work!!

5. Any notion of how semi-auto rapid fire burst weapons ROF relates to how many rounds you can actually put down range over various time frames. I'm thinking of the Incisor and it's ilk (Hornet) that list super high ROF. Right now those guns look really good for max DPS, but the numbers seem misleading because I'm very skeptical of being able to actually get that ROF. I don't think you can actually get 3 of those 3-round burst shots from an Incisor in 1 second, for example, because of some cooldown-type mechanic (maybe just netcode/lag issue, but still, data is good!).

Edit x2: Also, I want to caution everyone that the DPS you see currently is theoretical max, and assumes that stated RoF number in the configurations are achievable in-game.

These are probably unachievable due to lag/netcode, and if your aim is as bad as mine ... well let's just say my efficiency could be higher.

I'm not sure if it will work that way because my test was without any passives or weapon buffs.
For example:

Avenger X, disrupter 1:

47 * (1 + (0.025 * 11.25) = 60.21 vs shields

(47 * (1 + (0.025)) * 1.25 = 60.21 vs shields

Same number, but:

Avenger X, barrel X, weapon amp 3, 18% passives, combative upgrade, disrupter 4:

47 * (1 + 0.3 + 0.18 + 0.1 + 0.2 + (0.125 * 11.25)) = 149.75 vs shields

(47 * (1 + 0.3 + 0.18 + 0.1 + 0.2 + 0.125))*1.25 = 111.91 vs shields

Not the same, I think it uses the exact formula I used but can test it sometime to be sure.

Heh, cloak's damage window doesn't always seem to be 2s, at least until you get Combat Cloak.

But to answer your question, I haven't even played a character with that power yet. I think I unlocked the huntress so maybe I can test it.

Also downloaded autohotkey so I could create a click script to make clicking a lot more uniform, and might try testing some cloak shenanigans with it. Actually I downloaded it so I could test the Zalkin, since I know everyone is in suspense over that one.

Just did a quick test with the Eagle, which does work for a non-Combat Cloak damage bonus for at least .5 seconds as Capn has shown. Using rank 1 Stealth Grid, the damage bonus only seemed to apply to the first round fired. (still not combat logging here, just using "rounds per kill" testing.)

need to compare 3.125 * 2 * 5 = 31.25 with the carniflex's base damage .. (what level carniflex was used in test ? other damage bonuses ?)

What is listed on the ammo's card ?

Then fire two bullets and see if the DOT total damage matches ..
