Everything's better with cheese. Unless its goat cheese. I've used goat cheese in my mushroom mix before, it was alright. Made it creamier.

If you do one of three things the krysae becomes decent: 1/ Ramp up the krysae's damage with an infiltrator 2/ Boost its RoF to make 2HK's acceptable using a RoF kit 3/ Use it on a caster to get quick kills with a prime+detonate build. And if you do two of these things at the same time it actually becomes good. I went with options 2 and 3 and put it on my GE. Regardless, the krysae is the better gun simply because the disciple isn't really a gun at all. It's an asari sex toy you can use to beat people to death with.

Indra is underrated It's the sniper rifle I took my pic with I would probably have more tolerance for the Indra if the rounds weren't stupidly fucking bright explosive type BS filling up my forced scope use. Otherwise, the gun has some potential, but since that will never be fixed on PS3, no Indra for me.

*Slow deep nasal inhalation* With the Phaeston, they got it wrong. Good magazine capacity, moderate rate of fire, little bit inaccurate, very poor damage. Sounds like it has 7 nuts loose, maybe bolts. Maybe nuts AND bolts. Hard to tell without taking it apart, might break in the process, voids warranty. Best to leave it alone. With the Krysae, they got it right. Decent grenade launcher, area ammo primer, smartbomb technology detonates within enemy proximity. Useful for shooting over cover or around corners. Slow rate of fire and clunky reload acceptable when considering the crowd control capabilities of the weapon. When used in conjunction with area Tech powers, can make the wielder all but untouchable. ...But since they were trying to make it a sniper rifle, they still got it wrong. zomg SMR is in character!!

If u are talking about disciple it wos my pleasure mate On the other hand if u are talking about Krysae all the credit goes to HamleticTortoise who as i said absolutely wrecked verything with his toaster engie and the aforementioned "sniper"

If we talk modding for a moment here, what would you guys think would be a solid buff for Krysae and Disciple?
Due to how client sync works, it does not work well if we mess with rate of fire or ammo, so we are limited to damage tweaks. After testing it's vanilla version for a bit, here's my initial idea for the Krysae:
Damage increased from 616 to 2000 Armor damage multiplier reduced to 0.45 Barrier damage multiplier reduced to 0.55 Shield damage multiplier reduced to 0.35
This might sound a lot, but this version would be used in one of my mods, where enemies are significantly upgraded and health damage is less of factor. If you consider it's 35 rpm rate of fire, it's dps to armor is still lower than both of the Widows, tough it does have area of effect and should be pretty strong against enemies like Collector troops or Phantoms, probably too strong. Actually now that I think about it this would wreck Phantoms. Ok, it's probably off the scale and that is why the original version was nerfed, so what would be better?
And using the same modifiers, how would you suggest tweaking Disciple?
For the record, Disciple base damage is 70 (88 dps), for comparison M-22 Eviscerator does 80 (64 dps) and M-11 Wraith does 147 (120 dps).
It's interesting to notice that in addition to innate stagger, it has higher dps then Eviscerator but if I also remember correctly there is slightly higher spread. Maybe just buff it's damage to shields and barriers?

Disciple is OK, but if you ask me I'd up the stagger potential to have more reliable CC.

The Raptor tries to kill with kindness. I know you are on console, but the games are not that different.... Was this a serious post?

Krysae can rot on dongs imo. I'd tweak the RoF and remove the friggen delays. Disciple is OK, but if you ask me I'd up the stagger potential to have more reliable CC. We cannot tweak RoF or anything that messes with the ammo. Only damage numbers are safe. So we have to make it worthwhile with the clunky 35 rpm mechanic that it has. Well, it can be tweaked but it only works properly if the clients have the same mod installed, which is rarely the case. If the client does not have the modded files, and we change rpm to 60, client will still be able to fire only at 35, but server will consume his ammo if he clicks more often than that and it will create a viscous cycle where your clip will also desync from the server, and you see things like reloading after firing 1 shot. So we rather keep mods in shape which avoids creating any glitches, to be able to use it without any limitations. Thus, only damage on the Krysae should be tweaked. And I am looking for some ideas, what do we want this gun to do, since we can tweak modifiers to health, shields and barriers. What would a balanced Krysae damage numbers look like, keeping current RoF and other stats the same?
