Why you should use the Heleus Defender armor

I'm currently playing through as scott ryder. Does the male version of the armor have similar stats or is this a female only asset?

Haha! I knew that this thread would eventually happen. Even my non-gamer wife said, "Whoa! She has a butt!", upon seeing Sara in this armor.

On top of it's visual assets, it's good multipurpose armor. I used it nearly exclusively for my "Battle Engineer" (Sentinel/Incinerate/Remnant VI/Energy Drain). I'd swap to an Adept Favorite, at times, and this armor served both well.

Sartoz , I've never seen it drop in three PTs. It's a Heleus Research item. The armor is a single piece, as the "skin suit" suggests. The helmet is separate. riotinducer , it fits similarly on Scott; though he's predictably less ample. The numerical "stats" are, of course, the same.

Well...I have to say, you're argument is persuasive and more than a little convincing. Not much to disagree with there.

Just like I said in the Armor Set thread, yes Heleus Defender is sexy for its butt, but if you play with hide helmet feature, Scott's neck area looks so uncomfortable. I prefer Angaran Ranger Armor just like in my Avatar, It may not have the same sexy butt, but it's still sexy regardless.

You mean the squad gets all frozen after drooling on her hindquarters too much?

I was gonna say "I'll use any damn armor I please", but there is an argument here.

The higher tier version looks kinda silly with that big loop behind the neck. The helmet for this armor kinda sucks too, though I like being able to see the entire face through it. I wish we could get a helmet like Cora's.
