Why you should use the Heleus Defender armor

I'm not sure if you can just buy it. 

I Researched the blueprints (tier I --> IV in succession / I'm not high enough level for tier V yet), then switched over to the Development section and crafted the armour (tier IV).

As promised here's my Sara rocking a fashionable black/shock orange armour setup (yes I know it's in the profile screen, I only remembered when I was back in the tempest and I'd had my fill of Kadara for the night! )

That happened to me once, except my Sara ended up fusing with a barrel! The damn thing wouldn't come off and I had to reload - looked hilarious though!

Oh, okay!  I see what you mean... or rather, I don't without the CT or the Mod.  Hehe.    And thanks for the link!  I'm probably not going to use any Mods until after my 1st playthrough, but I'm bookmarking all the good ones for my 2nd.

I'm curious... what custom colours did you use on the armour?  I've got all mine set to true black, and it looks as it should on Havarl, but on Eos it looks completely different... distinctly brown, with a splotchy weathered-leather texture (very similar to yours in that shot).  I actually don't mind the changes (I'm starting to think of it as my "chameleon" armour), but it's interesting how different it can look in different environments/lighting.

I love that shockwave around the Piranha's muzzle as it fires. I love how you're rolling two shotties and what looks like a Black Widow. 

Call it evolution, I nearly tried all the guns ME has to offer and in my first play through I found the combination of the Piranha, Crusader and Widow to be the best for me. The game really favors heavy slow but hard hitters since the longer you are out of cover the bigger the risk of getting killed. So get out of cover, do some really hard hits and hide again, that works best for me.

The Crusader does 850 or so damage and its range is good enough for 90% of the encounters. The Widow is for that remaining 10% that are too far away and the Piranha only gets used in spray and pray emergencies like when I switch cover or when my position gets compromised and I'm beset by multiple assailants.

The Piranha is a wonderful hover-fire weapon for those who identify as an attack chopper.

I prefer the Remnant Heritage armor set...perfect for my Vanguard. Sure I sacrifice some assthetics, but about the only thing that can kill me are those fiends...and only if they can grab me.
