I don't know. I.honestly do not know why. But some people aren't having these bugs at all. I'm actually amazed by two thirds of the things you are claming is happening because it's nothing like what i (and others) have experienced. And since i have talked to game devs on it and since this whole experience only confirms what he said...i have to wonder what is causing this. Well not all are repeatable, but it's safe to say that some that are arguably the most annoying are fairly consistent, like the "Ghost Ryder" bug that happens in the memory sequences and movie night. I'm fairly positive that this is a bug that applies almost universally post-patch to F!Ryder. Then there's other troublesome bugs that might require going back to do a mission again, like what I experienced when I had to scan for scourge data. The conversation with Suvi about it didn't trigger, which stops the quest progression in its tracks with no way to go forward except to go back and redo Journey to Meridian.

Example. I'm standing in the gravity well that leads to the kadara vault right now. See a couple of problems? Yes, my game is set to maximum brightness, and my squad is currently running around shooting at walls. I'm the slightly darker dark spot in the middle of the screen.

This type of stuff, and this had happened on four different missions. I cleared an entire area, and go to talk to the NPC to finish the mission and get killed by some unseen enemy while in a conversation with the dialogue wheel up. Then instead of getting the critical mission failure screen, it's like the game knows it messed up and brings you back to life and restores your shields, even though you have no health. But you can't do anything and have to force quit the game. Then I end up having to replay that entire part of the mission for no reason. This is just one of many bugs I've experienced.

I had almost no bugs at all, only one minor quest that I coulnd't finish, and one larger one (first Architect on Eos) that got bugged, but I fixed with a previous save. I wonder if the worst bugs (I am on PS4) are on the PC. My friend is on the PS4, and she's the one who can't talk to Jaal ever, because the game locks up every time she does. Oh fine! Explode my theaory why not!??? ::goes and sulks:: bb code img

I really like how you've completely dismissed any validity to these poster's problems. Or, you know, maybe you've been fortunate not to run into the bugs and crashes that a lot of the rest of has have encountered? Oh, I'm really hoping that's the case. Otherwise, y'all are just bitching about nothing. Or you could look around at the different threads where people have laid out specific examples (including this one)? Or looked at the EA help page that I linked?

You're a biotic? Don't sling em off the platform. It's a stupid bug though Yes I am. And yes, I ended up reloading, then using cheat engine to keep me from dying while I whacked at them with my pew pew pew gun. Then I was able to continue the bloody vault. I understand the solution. The fact that it's a problem is the stupid part. I remember a similar problem in ME2 with the LOTSB DLC. If Liara bioticly throws the Brokers goons off the ship they don't really die and it bugs the rest of the mission.

"A couple of bugs." "Most of you are drama queens." How would you interpret that, then? Since there are more than a couple bugs, and I am not exaggerating the ones I've had. griffonclaw up there has had even more and worse ones than me. And these are just the major ones. I haven't mentioned anything about the medium and small ones, like dialogue out of order, quests not being given, lighting issues, and so forth. A friend of mine that plays can literally never talk to Jaal, because the game locks up every time she does. Some people love the game. That's great. I have no problem with that. They're lucky. I wish I could play the way they did. That being said, dismissing people who HAVE had a LOT of problems as "a couple of bugs" and "drama queens" only serves to annoy and irritate people who've had those problems. I'm sure those having issues are genuine. Yet many are playing (aside of 3/4 minor quest issues) largely bug-free. It's a puzzle.

I threw goons 90% of the goons off the ship (got a kick out of watching them get hit by lightning), and had that problem maybe once of the 50 times I played through those areas (kept dying on Insanity lol). I do remember it happening every so often in ME2. This seems to happen just about every time in MEA.

This got so bad for me that I literally carry around a sniper rifle just to find these enemies so that I can clear an area. I heard that there was some type of mod, console command that lets you see the enemies in walls and such, but I haven't found it.

Yep, you're quoting those who are having issues, who are to be believed. It's also reasonable to believe those who are not. I'm probably lucky to be on Xbox (more stable?), but I recognize the frustration for those having issues.

I would say Obsidian's New Vegas did the franchise more justice when it came to lore and story, but it's release was a complete joke. This was the last straw for me with Bethesda. I stopped preordering because once again, a AAA title company, taught me that preordering is fruitless unless you want to sift through technical jargon to fix your broken quest, your missing inventory, CTDs when you enter a new area, etc. Collector's Edition, full experience at the discounted price. Fallout 4, I waited and I have nothing awful to say about it. The modding community turned a mediocre game into a 8.5 with Unofficial patches and fixes, more lore-friendly content and Settlement scripts that complete that part of the game. Yeah, well, New Vegas wasn't developed by Bethesda. And Bethesda modding community wouldn't be as strong if Bethesda didn't release their modding tools to the fans. Absolutely.

I don't personally know anyone playing on it right now so I couldn't say. I wish that I could have had the behavior you had. I want to like this game more. I also really really really want to be able to play a single day's worth without running into a bug. I believe that a lot of people don't have issues. I envy you and them. I don't disbelieve you. I'm just tired of being disbelieved by those same people because I haven't had the same experience.

I think the launch reaction was undeservedly negative, but let's see how long this thread takes to burn down... Maybe undeservedly toxic and bullying, but not the overall impression people got. Andromeda is a 7/10 at most. if it was a highly polished game with the same content it would be nothing higher than a 7. Personally I thought it was a 5/10 the way it shipped after doing an entire playthrough and I do feel sorry for the peeps that worked 5 years to get such a reaction, but my bottom line is that as the BioWare brand and making a game in the Mass Effect series they should have been able to do better. Doesn't matter if it's Montreal or not. They had expectations set for them by making a game in line with ME123.

I did movie night after the last mission, so this was my final impression of the game.

i didn't get ghost Ryder. Honestly though bugs don't bother me.unless they are quest or game breaking. And only had one of those. Just curious, but what platform, and did you have an LI in that playthrough? It apparently affects F!Ryder when a companion is a love interest. During movie night, I had ghostRyder. FemRyder, romanced Jaal on the PC. Drack and Jaal both had arms around my invisiRyder during the last part of the cutscene. cypherj: That's exactly how my movie night went. Sigh. And that was a *minor* problem that I don't even bother to put on my top 10, or top 20 (and possibly not top 50) list of problems.

Oh, I'm really hoping that's the case. Otherwise, y'all are just bitching about nothing. Or you could look around at the different threads where people have laid out specific examples (including this one)? Or looked at the EA help page that I linked? EA still hasn't fixed the problem I posted for the missing ground textures on PS4. PS won't even field them now. The only solution was to start over because pulling up earlier saves didn't fix the situation. It was after patch 1.05 that I was able to speed run to the end.

I've had the bug where no weapons or augments drop between level 61-71. So that was what was going on I thought I had imagined that I wasn't getting any drops. Is there any issues with xp gains during those levels by chance because it seemed to take me forever to get to 70 then the next thing I know I rang in level 80.
