Not sure if that falls under 'changed', but the game is definitely better than I had expected it to be, and most of the characters had surprisingly developed and improved with the progression. E.g. I expected Drack to be nothing but a carbon-copy Wrex 2.0, it was good to see him being a solid stand-alone character after all. Still, wish we had fewer forced MET references and tie-ins. Seriously, I would imagine that Liara TSoni is NOT the only xenobiologist\archeologist left in the MW, and I'm pretty sure we've had enough of her in MET.

My personal game-rating hasn't changed, but I feel I'm accumulating annoyance from Bioware's radio-silence.

I don't have the game, and I'm doubting if I ever will. It's not looking like I'll be buying a ME title with Mac Walters as the director.

I just want to know if they plan on patching the game or no? if not then i can install my mods and play? if yes then tell me the bloody date. Right now a lot of us are stuck in the middle and that actually annoys me.

I would wait for a GOTY edition anyway, which is my advice with pretty much any AAA game as the industry stands now. I haven't pre-ordered a game since Skyrim, and i won't start with it again, even if i trust the developer/publisher.

Yeah, that felt rather forced and too small-worldy. I don't mind the odd one or two, particularly if it's tongue in cheek (Conrad's sister anyone?) but it's something they need to be careful with. Although it was a bigger problem in the original trilogy. Just happen to run into Tali on your first trip with Cerberus in ME2 for example?

Still Enjoy the game. More nit picky about mechanics especially after playing Zelda BOTW.

Any game I play now, I keep trying to climb the walls, cliffs, hills, etc...and Nope. It would be cool the omni tool morphed to give you climbing spikes for each hand with spiked grips on the boots so Scott could climb those steep cliffs without the nomad.

I think having more puzzles in the open world integrated in the side quests would be awesome. The Remnant Monoliths started to touch on this.

I wish the consumables, ammo, and health packs were easily craftable so there is a good mechanic behind having to explore.

And I wish the NPCs were more dynamic. Moving around the maps on foot or in vehicles. Even coming across the same NPCs on different planets so it feels like they are on their own agenda.

My opinion changed, but not because of the patch. When it was released, there was a certain euphoria associated with playing a mass effect game again, after a 5 year wait. Did two playthroughs, but by the third all the problems with the game's design and plot elements began to wear me down. I have many posts talking about the stuff that pissed me off so I won't get into it here. So after 217 hours of play I decided to scratch my ME itch by applying a texture mod to ME1 and replaying the OT. Since I stopped playing MEA I finished an ME1 Femshep Renegade and now playing an ME1 Maleshep paragon.

I am not really looking out for news of an MEA DLC and I am uncertain if/when I will pick it up again. I will definitely not be prepurchasing any titles like I did this time. I'd have to be convinced Bioware knows that the problems with this game go way beyond character face/animation issues.
