Am I the sort of person to get suckered in by a novelty controller?
Maybe I am...

very curious about what's in the premium and obviously collectors edition. If I like what I see and hear on Sunday I'll go for one of those two, otherwise I'll get the standard one with gamepass once it releases to try out first.

Looks impressive, I can see myself sinking quite a few hours into this. I hope one day we get a big showcase for Dreadwolf like that. Maybe EA Play next year if they have one?

building outposts-habitats, flying around in customized ships with my customized character
will keep me busy for a long time and also will help reduce the long walk wait for the next Mass Effect
Got the Xbox digital deluxe version for now. If the game is indeed fun and good, I'll get it for (my yet to be built) gaming PC eventually down the line, by that time hopefully some fun mods and extensions will be available too.
Since I have a ps5, not an xbox, I will have to wait for the computer specs to know if my computer can handle the game. If not, it might be cheaper to get the xbox instead of upgrading my computer.

Watched the showcase with some friends and we were talking a lot, so I'll have to rewatch later but what I picked up looked very nice.
The one thing that didn't look that great tbh were the typical Bethesda faces with a lip sync that was very hit and miss. But I am not worried about that even if they don't look super great, the environments and everything else looked fantastic. Really hope it won't be too bad on the bug/technical front and we'll be in for one hell of a fall this year.

Looks like I was wrong when I said that the shooting reminded me of MEA, but it had proper melee instead of "biotics". There was a quick scene where the PC use "force push" with his left hand.
Now the question is if we can spec only in that and make a Space Wizard! Or if it's super limited.
