I have a theory about Jaal's romance. I don't know if someone before said it (because I'm avoiding tags with spoiler content) Just in case, I spoiler tag it and if any of you now something regarding to this, please, don't tell me, I don't wanna know for real, I just wanted to put my crazy ideas out of my head. The theory is Someone has pointed out in a thread kett and angara have a pretty similar design if you observe them carefully: bsn.boards.net/thread/4376/kett-angara-same-speciesI think he is right. That could be: 1) They were originally the same species who evolve differently depending on the planet they were on (someone points this out in the thread) 2) Kett are a mutation of the Angara (maybe genetically engineered) 3) I think (this is my theory) kett are Angara affected by a dissease which makes their body to generate too much bone and calcificate. Maybe that's the reason why the kett are so religious in appearance: they are looking for a cure (or not) through a cult, and maybe they think the remnant technology has te answer. If it's 1, nothing to do with Jaal. But if it's 2 or 3, I see that to be an important point of Jaal's character arc, direct or indirectly: If kett are a engineered Angara by the enemy (Archon or Archon's team) I see some friend of Jaal's (or even Jaal himself) being kidnapped and re-enginereed. If it's 3, I see Jaal being affected with that disease. That will put us in a "Thane situation" with the difference that, maybe this time, we have a way to cure him (plus if that way of curing him implies you sacrifice other people against his will or you accept he will transform eventually or you lie him The Last of Us style). Who knows, maybe we end having a kett Jaal I like the kett, OK???? That's it, I don't think that will do anything with the plot but it's fun to especulate. But please, if there is actual information or leaks about this, please tag it, pretty plissss. I won't read it, I don't want to know real plot spoilers. Interesting theory. I personally don't see Jaal being involved personally, whatever the scenario is. As in, I don't think he'll be sick and we'll save him. Maybe someone close to him gets sick or kidnapped though, so we help him save them. Or maybe someone he used to care about (in a non romantic way) has become a Kett and his enemy, so that could be interesting. He has to question his entire belief about the Kett, since we know he's a resistance fighter. Maybe he gets a glimpse of what things are like from the Kett's pov. Kinda like Tali with Legion and the Geth maybe, but with less racism? It could be interesting character development. I like it! I think what you say will be very close to "we want you to empathize with the kett" Mac said before in an interview.

Just came back from Helsinki. I feel like I've been front of the Spanish Inquisition. I want to crawl somewhere and die. But first I have to go through the thread and answer these: First BioWare game?: Neverwinter Nights. Didn't like much, gave it away. Favorite BioWare game?: Mass Effect 2 and SWTOR. Favorite BioWare character?: Theron Shan. Zevran and Fenris share the second place. What's your BioWare OTP? : Theron and Marnh ofc. What was your Shepard's name?: Bran, Ian, Ewan, Ethan, Egan etc. What is your Ryder's name going to be?: Bran, Ian, Ewan, Ethan, Egan etc. Who is your favorite Andromeda squadmate so far: Jaal. Why would I be here otherwise? Now I can die in peace. In most serious note: I hope you are better, some people are assholes. Doctors or not, some people simply are. You are great, YOU ARE THE BICEPS OF GREAT!!!

Hey, he was certainly my canon romance. Alistair being heterosexual and having an enormous fangirl following makes it frustrating. If they'd responded to a comment and likened him to Bull or something, I'd be more reassured. I mean, at this point, knowing Jaal is like Alistair is a nail in the coffin. They ALWAYS make those kind-hearted swoon-worthy guys straight. ALWAYS. WHAT ABOUT KAIDAN????

Just for curiosity's sake, here's a little questionnaire for my Jaal folks! First BioWare game? Favorite BioWare game? Favorite BioWare character? What's your BioWare OTP? From any game! What was your Shepard's name? What is your Ryder's name going to be? Who is your favorite Andromeda squadmate so far (minus Jaal)? First: Mass Effect 1 Favorite: Mass Effect Trilogy (every playthrough I play all the three) Favorite Bioware character? Garrus OTP? Shepard Garrus Shepard's name? Too many Shepards... but my favourite one is "Mei B." Ryder's name? Sara (I want my PC to be call by her first name for once!) Favorite Andromeda squadmate (minus Jaal)? Vetra

I think you are right DextroDNAThey have similar eyes, similar mouths, similar arms, hands and similar feet. I don't know if that transformation is a mutation as someone said, an evolutionary process as it's been said also, or if it's something related to DNA engineering and religious beliefs. Maybe it's some kind of degenerative sickness which producess that massive calcification. Maybe that religious undertones of the kett are a result of that desesperate cure for those who are infected by the disease. However, I hope this is not related to some kind of machine menace. Maybe the kett used Remnant technology in order to re-engineer themselves or to cure themselves. Or maybe some kind of tyrant is using it to make his own army. The remnant technology can be a weapon, but not the great machine mind behind the bad guy. That was been done with Saren-Sovereign.

ME3 had clunky moments and the animations way often felt "animatronic" in comparision with ME2. However, once you get use to it the first half hour, it's fine with great visual moments. I see an improvement with ME3 and hopefully it will have better animations than DAI. But I don't see the point of comparing Bioware's animations with other companies. It's like to expect Telltalegames to have a variety of resolutions ala Mass Effect 3 or asking them to have the animations quality of Naughty Dog. Telltale is not aimed to do that. The same goes to Bioware.

I always killed the geth but this time I decided to brainwash them to see what happens o.o Same with the Rachni, didnt kill her this time. I have never killed her. I think my first ME3 ending had the biggest army you could possibly get for the London war. And I love how the Rachni workers and Geth scared the people when they came to help build the Crucible LOL dalinne I do EVERYTHING to be safe lol because I have a bug where Miranda dies no matter what, so I have to keep shooting her sister to save both of them. what??? NOOooooo! Miranda's bug??? And you have to shoot her sister in order to save them both? That sounds horrific and hilarious too ('cos I'm thinking the multiple times Shepard acts as hostage negotiator and so many times it can end with her shooting the hostage in order to solve the situation... poor Mariana in Shadow Broker DLC )

One of the choices where it's "better" to know what to do... But even if you still can have them both in peace? If everything else is fine I always destroy them, make sure Tali and Legion were loyal in in ME2 and make sure my Paragon/Renegade is high and I always get the peaceful option. Oh and I do the Geth Consensus and save the Admiral first too! Plus: Tali has to be Almirant. It's not as important if she was not loyal in ME2: if she survives the Suicide Mission you will be come around in ME3. But you need her as Almirant because otherwise it doesn't matter...

Let's take a moment to acknowledge that "turian middle school" is either the cutest or most horrifying concept I've seen today. I picture the Turian high school like a mix of "Hunger Games/Battle Royale" and "Predator". It suits their militaristic culture. I don't know. Surviving teenage years is literal with them

*Potentially Controversial Opinion Alert* Mass Effect 3 is the best game in the original trilogy, in my humble opinion. I love all three games equally, but 3 is a masterpiece. I agree! My only problem was the LAST FUCKING TEN MINUTES but thanks to headcanon, Destroy ending and Tarysande's fanfic I totally recovered ME3 was great

Best moments from the Trilogy?
Any moment with Garrus on it. PLUS
Hugging Tali in ME2 Hugging Liara in ME2 All the moments when you see Wrex again after ME1 Thane when he is introduced Jack when she welcomes you as the Queen of the Girl Scoutts in ME3 Samara, her recruitment mission, her loyalty mission Kaidan in ME3 (tho I really liked his romance as Femshep in ME1 the first time) + "Can I call you K?" (Citadel DLC) Javik EDI "I'm OK!!" Citadel DLC Citadel DLC and Leviathan for life! "Don't fuck with Aria!" Mordin when you met him, Mordin when he comments things, Mordin when he sings, Mordin when he dies Grunt comes back from the death in the best moment (because I've already lost Thane, Mordin, Legion... but not him) Jacob when he... erm... nah, no, sorry Vega. I great surprise Miranda. I freaking love her character in ME3 Ash banter in ME1 (except when she gets a little racist... that is for you too, Garrus ME1!!) Kasumi. Her banter is priceless When Victus son dies Rannoch Does this unit have a soul? Zaeed when he "AAARRRGGGGGG" because I saved those miners The Suicide Mission + its soundtrack Joker. All his banter through three games Anderson: I'm proud of you
Too many moments But the best moment of all: the farewell in Garrus romance
"The best" You = me! Love this!

Still not happy with that retcon but hey, it's their lore, suppose I'll just have to suck it up. Maybe that might be one of the reasons Peebee sports that facial paint. At least it doesn't go against the lore, since asari do have hair in the form of eyelashes. They just didn't have hair anywhere else, hence it being a very recessive trait. I'd prefer she not have eyebrows either, but it fits the lore so I can accept that. I think that is a reason why. I remember discussing with others that due to it being a weird trait other asari may have made fun of her for it, leading her to hide it with that big black mark across her face and also why she is a counter to the traditional asari and maybe that resentment is part of the reason fueling her rivalry with Lexi. Yea, I think that could be a pretty good reason behind her face paint. THREE FOR THE TEAM #EyeBrowsMysteryPaint
