It's the lack of emotions on the faces. The voice acting is decent for minor NPCs but the facial animation was lacking. It's basically 'my face is tired' thing again. Virtually no game is using custom animations and mocap for side characters, unless they're a part of a bigger quest or story moment, let's be real. "My face is tired" got so notorious because animations were janky during one of those more important story moments, not when we engage with regular NPCs. Yeah, even games like the Witcher 3 have less than stellar facial animations on non important NPCs. Not all games can be RDR2 level of facial animations. (Unless you want to overwork employees to the bone.)

I went back and watched again to focused of the faces during conversations, and I gotta say, I don't see what people are talking about with the stiffness. Everything looks really smooth to me.  I mean NPCs aren't going to get that much attention compared to the main characters lol.

Still on the fence on whether to play a mage, the person playing Rook mage made him look very squishy lol. Still I like the crowd control abilities.

I took it as the devs playing and the IGN person just watching :/ . Yeah they didn't let Game Informer guy play the game either, not sure why. I wish they'd brought a melee character, I want to see more of Rook in the back.
Are qunari in this game going to have gigantic foreheads? lol they all stole it from Harding. Also I need that Rook's skin care routine.
It's probably the same skin care routine as Patrick Bateman. XD
