That Nintendo's lawyers are so notoriously bloodthirsty is why I'm confident that Nintendo has no grounds for a lawsuit. Take that Pokemon mod that appeared for Palworld, Nintendo went after them inside of a week but Palworld has been publicly worked on for 3 years. It's released to 10 million sales and a huge wave of goodwill. And they're both Japanese companies so if Nintendo wanted to launch a lawsuit it'd be comparatively easy. They haven't done anything. Which means Nintendo probably can't do anything. It's just people on twitter whinging again. Since Pair's designs aren't 1:1 nor have they used trademarked terminology they'll be safe but that hasn't stopped Nintendo in the past. The whining on social media despite Nintendo treating their fans like redheaded stepchildren reminds me of this...  One potentially big positive of Palworld's success that Pokemon fans should look forward to is that GameFreak might put some effort into their next title. So far GF's latest monster designs look uninspired when compared to older generations, weak character customization, poor servers and there's no 1st party communication option between players. I'm doubtful one game will cause a billion dollar company to "wake up." We really need to stop overestimating outlier's successes.

I'm going to be controversial - I would have liked to not have a Gray Warden companion. It's just that after three games of having one (yes, I'm still counting Blackwall) I don't want it to become something mandatory. The blights are very important to the story, no doubt, but I really think it starts to feel weird that the Wardens keep weaseling themselves into the story of every major player in Thedas. If we did have to have one I'd have preferred a female this time.

Until Larian fixes the save bug on Xbox, I've placed BG3 on the backburner and resumed playing Starfield. Forgot how addicting the game is lol. But yeah I've tried the Beowolf weapon for the first time and I can see why people use it soooo much. That weapon shreds through anyone and anything including high level Terromorphs!
Anyway, I'll try to get a summary of my adventures tomorrow and it'll deal with THAT war criminal and the twists and turns regarding their storyline. Boy all I'm going to say is that I wished I'd killed that war criminal myself lol.

Who knew Xbox would find their own version of Pokemon lol. That out-Pokemons Pokemon no less. It’s hysterical that the meme was real, and is actually doing well. Maybe this’ll get those complacent fat cats at Gamefreak to actually put some elbow grease into their product. Pokemon is still rolling in cash so I'm doubtful lol.

Finally, there's the games that utterly despise not just war but the military and the concept of militarism while treating soldiers as victims alongside civilians. The most famous is of course Metal Gear and Spec Ops.

The US Marines, Navy Seals, Army Rangers/Green Berets and British SAS should use COD MOdern Warfare as a recruitment tool and Captain Pryce should be in charge of Recruitment. They did use COD as a recruitment tool, but it's not working: usafacts.org/articles/military-recruitment-is-down/

Palworld is so hyped because it's not very much like Pokemon. Everybody is fed up with Gamefreak because they sit on the Pokemon license and do nothing with it except throw out the same game every 2 to 3 years with slightly updated graphics. 20 years of exactly zero innovation. Palworld is Ark Survival Evolved but with Pokemon instead of dinosaurs  You know, something Pokemon fans would be excited to actually try. It's definitely not something similar on another platform That makes sense. Absolutely right about Pokemon's tired old formula. Friend of mine buys them all anyway despite agreeing how stale the franchise has become. A formula that's still fun to many. Can't fault them for buying it.

Yeah I think i twas frozen out becacause of JK Rowling who had nothing to do witthe game only relation she has with the game was create the universe the game is based in. The story and all that was done by th edevs who I think did an awesom job with it. I'v enjoyed playing th egame. All the devs did was take the universe she cerated and wrote their own story within it to create a game. I don' tsee anything wrong with that. In fact for me I like the game more than the books and movies and the previous tie in games. So as fa ras I'm concerned I'd be happy if they made another one or made some DLC for it or something eventually. Th eonl ything I would change is not use the strict levelling system. I would stil hav ea level up system wha tI mean is don' tloc kquests jus tbecause w ehav et obe level 15 when we're level 13 o rsomething. Make it tied to a spell so if we need a certain spell or item yes but not level. Incorrect - JK Rowling does not have 'nothing' to do with this game or any HP property. She makes income from every sale. When you buy anything to do with Harry Potter, she gets that tiny bit richer, passively. Where you stand on that is another thing, but its wrong to position this as though she just did something once in the 90s-00s and now has no connection to Hogwarts Legacy. Tell that to Reddit and those games "journalists" lol.

I hate Pokemon so Palworld isn't any more appealing. But good on them for making so much money ripping off Pokemon, lol. Talk about bitterness lol.  Don't know what this game is but good for them to be successful. It's nice to have a game that's not the same AAA game.

Well anyone saying Starfield mod scene isn't a things are clearly wrong. It's currently 11th on the Nexus in amount of mods released. The CK isn't even out yet and all the games before it have released before 2021. And the top 6 are all Bethesda games.  It was obvious clickbait; people are either determined to dislike Starfield or were too lazy to do a little research. Probably a little bit of both to be honest.

Yet somehow it can't be nominated for a single award in the TGA. Another reason why I think game awards are meaningless. Game was quite average in almost every area. But that is more than enough to succeed among the otherwise lackluster HP games. Could have given it a sales award at most, lol. Music, design, those areas really but you mean to tell me that it was worth ignoring? Nah, the fact that a game that wasn't COD or Fornite managed to outsell was impressive and doesn't any recognition. That's why I don't have any respect for many of these gaming "journalists".

By the way if DA 2 ever gets a remake which its obviously never will i would could cut Justice from Anders characterization. I would prefer if Kirkwall and Karls death would change him and not some Spirit of Justice. justice>vengeance was our first introduction to the idea that demons and spirits were not different things and could change back and forth so I think it would be a bad idea to remove that. Making it so you can separate justice and Anders but then Anders bombs the church anyway might be interesting though... After all it's Anders feelings that corrupted justice into vengeance in the first place. Mostly what I'd want from a da2 remake would be - more maps so that locations that are meant to be different places don't look like they're the same place - more npcs so there's no clone crowds or low graphic quality background npcs scattered around kirkwall (plus add some female dwarves) - no waves of enemies falling from the sky, make one tougher wave and more enemies can only appear in some fights and only logically through doors and corridors which you could predict and choose to try and block. - orsino doesn't attack you if you side with mages - Meredith tries to resist attacking you if you side with Templars resulting in a shorter or easier fight that ends with her killing herself instead of you killing her. -add a third ending choice "side with kirkwall" where you join with the kirkwall guard to permanently evict both the circle and the Templars in a "get out or we'll throw you out cause we're sick of your fighting endangering our home" move - this would be the ending choice that results in fighting both orsino and Meredith. I really wish we could see what happened to Anders after DA: 2. It'll be interesting to see him either completely broken or an abomination of Vengeance depending on how you treated him.
