1.) Nice cutscenes, I’ll give them that much. 2.) Not impressed with Taash’s voice acting. 3.) The dragon fights in DAI were better. 4.) I would have thought the elven gods would bring more impressive combat abilities to bear than ripping off Doctor Octopus. Why was Solas scared of this bitch again? Because she can summon TWO blighted Dragons to her will. It took Cory a while to get one and he had to use Red Lyrium.

Dash n' Bubble: I like the Mage dodge option where Rook can disappear and reappear from another angle. It's the little things that make me want to play mage for the first time lol.

Going back to that generation of games I don't have a problem with seeing remasters or remakes of, but it still baffles me that they are so desperate for cash to remaster Zero Dawn. I mean it's not a surprise, they remastered TLOU 2 only 3 years after its release. Sony needs to stop relying on expensive single player games and start going small. Or at the very least REMASTER KILLZONE!

Would the people or the events of the Imperium really care about said choices?
Gamers care, that should be the entire point.
Which gamers? Because there are many types of gamers who like different aspects of a said game.

What's really important to the world state? Who the Inquisitor is banging, ugh. Yes, because romance is very important to a lot of fans of the Dragon Age series. In fact, it's a staple of the franchise and many Bioware games general. I mean, half of the discourse on this subsection of the site is talking about how the female Elven Inquisitor will deal with Solas if they're romanced. I've seen plenty of people STILL talk about being dumped by Allistair, betrayed by Anders, and forced to see Solas destroy the world. I mean for me, I still remember the sweet romance with Merrill and Hawke and the Inquisitor and Cass. For all their faults lately, Bioware has always nailed romance to the point where folks look back fondly at them.

I'm still uncomfortable with uproar the chest scars are causing. I'm not Trans and they are fine as a on option to have. You can just ignore them and keep going, it is possible to not get mad at everything you don't like. For example, I don't care about all the several tattoo options, but I'm just going to play without them. Bioware is the "woke" company and in the eyes of the fringes of the internet, that means they're the enemy of gaming lol. So best to drum up every little thing in order to bash them. It's also part of the reason why I'm having a hard time taking this thread seriously. If people are really up in arms over this, then it's likely they didn't want to play the game in the first place.

You know there is some irony that not only has this thread lasted eleven pages...well done everyone, seriously....but also that the same people who are complaining about not having enough options are also doing a lot of complaining about not having the breast surgery scars, IE a different set of options. Like I get it but there are also a lot of reasons those would exist in setting beyond just the trans issue. I don't believe a single person in this thread has argued against the top surgery scars. Nut jobs on youtube sure. But not here. But it is this kind of BS, accusing each side of being way more extreme than they are, is why we can't have civilized discussions. Actually there was a person who did argue against the surgical scars lol. But that comment was deleted.

Oh thank god. I just saw Kala Elizabeth's video on qunari and there are rougher skin textures around the horns for qunari. Just fell to my knees in a Kwik Trip. So it was just an overreaction? We’re back on the hype train?!

It's not just that they're complaining at things that were part of DA since DAO, but their incessant, blatant lying as well. Just look what's floating around Twitter. Shows how desperate they are for material to complain about. this is so sad lol... like, why? Because the outrage machine needs controversy to stay relevant. If you can’t find any controversy, make some up!

BG3 had the same options (except for the scars) and nobody gave a damn. There's no reason to believe the few whiny morons on Twitter will make an actual impact in the long term. Oh, they gave a damn - it's just that after BG3 became a roaring success they STFU very quickly. If DAVe is popular enough, they'll likely shut up as well, although I suspect they'll make a lot more attempts before they let it go. One of them did try to make a mod erasing all the “woke” stuff lol.

I remember people saying that Allistair looked too fat in his DA:2 cameo lol. Honestly, a cameo is fine but I prefer choices that really affect the game like Hawkes potential death in inquisition. That’s something I remember more than meeting Connor in a blink and you miss cameo. Especially when Varric reacted to his death, It was very emotional seeing Varric nearly cry over Hawke: a guy who he was best friends with for years.

Yea the grift mill has woken up and the algo doesn't seem to discriminate between informative video and toxic sludge. Why can't we block channels we don't like??? You can if you're signed in on Youtube. Once you're logged in, just click on the three dots and there will be an option to block the channel.

To the critics who say the choices also haven´t really mattered in previous games they not complete wrong but also not complete right on this. I personal won´t want to miss small details like the DAI Connor cameo for example which flavors an otherwise vanilia experience. An amazing example of what can be done. His cameo wasn’t remarkable, but it let us know that it mattered in some way what we did games ago. It showed us that they seriously cared about their universe and added immersion to our playthrough. Same thing with seeing Alistair, Anora, or both, or none. Gods the writing was strong then! Are you implying that the devs don't care with this game as well?

But honestly in the grand scheme of things, if it doesn't serve the story, there's no need to add it in. I was disappointed that most of the keep choices didn't transfer to Inquisition but it still remained a great game. All it matters, is that the important choices, particularly the ones that'll affect Veilguard will factor into the game. Jesus this argument again but it "doesn´t serve the story". Jeez you are not wrong in your point of view but also so wrong from my mine. Does the Alistair cameo in DA2 for example change anything in DA2? Not really because the game has to play the same for the option if Alistair is dead but his presence even if is a small duration of time adds so much flavor to the game. Veilguard for the first time in the series including Awakening doesn´t have those scenes besides the Inquisitor of course. And this is such a big shame and disappointment as a fan.
Also who cares about Veilguard decisions if they don´t even matter in the next game.
The Inquisitor will appear in this game, that's more than enough to satisfy me and it seems how the Inquistion will be like will matter as well. Also Morrigan will appear as well and presumably the choices from Origins and Inquisition factor into her. Honestly, we don't even know what the imports will be like. It feels like we're just panicking over the drops of info we're given. Personally, I'm just waiting until the game releases to see what choices really factor in.

I don't know, it just sounds like more nitpicking at this point. A lot of the choices that Bioware imported in the ME and DA games ended up being disappointing or buggy to the point where you missed out on dialogue. Personally, I prefer fewer but more impactful choices be imported.

It seems that Veilguard is more for new players than to players who have played the previous games. And this insane especially for the fact that Inquisition is Bioware most successful game to this day. Do i want that all DA keep choices make a return? Of course not because most stuff aren´t important to this time and places where Veilguard plays. So who cares about Ostagar prisoner who dies regardless in Origins anyway but Kieran i really don´t need him to appear in the game but he should be mentioned by his mother Morrigan atleast in 1-2 of her dialogues. And Rook asking if she had kids is not that personal for a question to ask. It's also insane because it was the existing playerbase that kept the game alive for an entire decade when Bioware went through self inflicted L after self inflicted L (Anthem, Dragon Age). To deliberately seek new audiences at the expense of pissing off the core playerbase --- I just don't understand the rationale man. You know I'm irratated that Bioware will likely ignore Andromeda, and they set Anders to the wayside. But honestly in the grand scheme of things, if it doesn't serve the story for the current game, there's no need to add it in. I was disappointed that most of the keep choices didn't transfer to Inquisition, but it still remained a great game. All it matters, is that the important choices, particularly the ones that'll affect Veilguard will factor into the game.

Depends if they ask nicely or a have big whinge about how Bioware hates them. Most of what I've seen here is "You want female character with curves? You must be a pervert" With a healthy dash of "western developers", "surgical scars" and my favorite one: "Mutilation."
