I know my kid was trying to be funny / goofy with this line, but it just turned out disturbing. She was bringing out play food from her toy room when she had a little play kitchen knife and said, "Daddy, how about I cut off my face, and you eat it! Hahaha!"

Ah, kids.
So much trouble and you gotta care about them a lot, but... kinda funny at times. Kinda weird other times.

She was bringing out play food from her toy room when she had a little play kitchen knife and said, "Daddy, how about I cut off my face, and you eat it! Hahaha!" Not quite the same, but still in the vein of kids saying spooky stuff. When I was a teenager and into my early college years, I would babysit for a few different families in the area. One night, I was tucking one of the little boys into bed and he whispered: "Don't step on the big man's feet." "What man?" "The man who lives in my room, he's behind you" The young boy giggled. And I never babysat for that family again. No, that's a lie, I did continue to babysit for them, but it was still a little spooky.

Child was exceedingly emotional for some reason yesterday. She needed to be calmed down before bed time so I held her on my (getting quite small,) lap and snuggled her and asked her if it was time to go to sleep. "Noooooo, I don't want to go to the top. Let's snuggle in the medium. I don't like the bottom." (She was upset that her dad had taken her toys that she was throwing up in the air next to our 4K tv, and didn't want to be by him. We were in the basement, aka "the bottom." She wanted to go to the main floor, "the medium," and didn't want to go to her bedroom to sleep, "the top." ) Kid logic!

Sorry for the multiple posts but this JUST happened. *I'm working in my office, hear child through the 2-way baby monitor* Kid: DADDY!! Me: What do you need, honey? Kid: No, I want Daddy! Me: Daddy's at work... Kid: No, I don't want you! Me: Why do you want Daddy? Kid: Because I want to come out, but I don't want to snuggle you! Me: Well that's rude, because I want to snuggle you! Kid: Ugh....nooooo...... ...................... really feeling the love this morning.

Yup. You can keep kids far as I'm concerned.
And with the amount of likelihood of that, I don't think there'll be any woman to talk me into it, either.
I should have enlisted for that awesome excuse. "But relationships and the military don't go together!"

Okay, small story about my friends' kid. She is lovely 3 years old and her parents want her to keep believing in miracles as long as she can, so they do some silly adorable things like hiding small presents in her room for her to find if she was being good. Right before this New Year they got her a relatively big doll of Santa (Ded Moroz more precisely) with pocket at its back. If lassie was a good girl she would find in that pocket chocolate or Kinder Surprise. Every time it was blast of excitement and cheer you probably can imagine and of course little girl couldn't keep it to herself. So one day she goes and tells everyone in her kindergarten group that she have the awesomest and the bestest Ded Moroz in her room who's, when she is good, allows her to take chocolate eggs from his ass. Her mother, on the way home, as she told, has only one thought: "Dear, when did it gone wrong?"

The term "zadek" can mean both butt, and rear

When my kid was two and still wore diapers, one time she came to her dad and said "Dad listen!" and then peed to the diaper and giggled "the sound of pee!"

Adults think about paying the electric bill, washing the car and the in-laws coming to visits. Kids think about the no brownies crisis.
