Okay, my first PT was Diplomatic with occasional dips elsewhere. My second PT was Sarcastic with occasional dips elsewhere. And my third PT was Direct/Aggressive with occasional Sarcastic. Same here. Come to think of it, my first playthroughs in both DA and ME (and in other games as well) were usually very much paragon-like. I get nastier later on, with a fully evil playhtough still ahead of me

What about Samara? Ok, she's not a fully developed option, but still, very unique. From the list above I'd say Jack.

Hawke, definitely, my Inky Adaar comes next and Warden Brosca. I have a soft spot for the underdogs.

Considering that they named character Ryder after first woman in space - Sally Ryde, I think it's safe to assume that both characters' name may begin with an S. The name should have been Valentina Tereshkova in that case. Valentina Ryder? Not too shabby

Heart-wrenching In Hushed Whispers, definitely, although I'd prefer Calpernia here, who is a much more interesting character than Ser Barris and Samson combined.
IHW with Calpernia as, for instance, Alexius's former slave who became his assistant (replacing Dorian), only later to betray him for Corypheus.
Ah well, a girl can dream.

Ya gotta commit! Haha I've played a templar siding Hawke, which hurt ny personal feels. And just finished an Evil Hawke that pretty much was mean and murder to everyone. Sometimes I had to walk away from the screen and give myself a pep talk but I'd come back and pick the evil choice with an inward cringe anyway. I'm actually loving the idea of an evil pep talk Will definitely give it a try!

1. I have one worldstate on the side that is completely dedicated to ruining everyone and everything. The worst possible scenario. And in my headcanon, the Warden of that worldstate is worse than the Archdemon.2. I find playing a mage to be very difficult. In DA:O it limits my origins too much, in DA2 it makes me lose Bethany and in DA:I it makes me too biased to properly make the templars vs mages choice. On top of that I feel mages are too "overpowered" and too "special" for the protagonists. 3. I would've totally romanced Cassandra on my main Inquisitor if she were available for females. I could use a mod to romance her, but since it wouldn't be canon I can't bring myself to install the mod. This is my one dark wish - to be finally able to complete an evil playthrough. I usually start well ("well" meaning here being a total jerk/ess), but then I begin to falter and I lose my evil groove

Only lesson they need to learn from Witcher 3s content is simply to have side content that tell a story yet less of a story then the main campaign. Which can be..difficult. As far as the settlements are concerned I hope they do better then FO 4 did barely touched those and they just seem...weird. That's the thing. Anything less thought-out than W3's side quests will be an insult to MEA audience. I hope that Bioware is very much aware of that.

Same, get out of my head! I'll never romance Solas or Blackwall however, I did try the Cullen romance once and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I made a circle mage for him, it was awkward and sweet. I did attempt to ride the Bull but deleted it, just couldn't stick it out. I will attempt a Dorian playthrough at some point, just find it hard to stick with a male protag when I have the option not to be. So, you're saying I should give Cullen a chance? ;-) I have exactly the same thing with playing male characters - more often than not I just approach them as the last resort of replayability. And I usually abandon them half-way through (Cassandra romance was the exception, because it's Cassandra). Imagine my surprise when I started playing W3 and just couldn't stop ;-)

In Your Heart Shall Burn - a powerful breakthrough moment in the game, it really does get my heart beating faster everytime I'm about to start it.
In Hushed Whispers - seeing my companions tortured and killed is a kind of traumatizing experience for my Inky (and yours truly).
Still, it's a pity there are so few main quests in the game.

A part of me is still bummed that Cassandra isn't a bi choice. I really like Vivienne and Morrigan, just love their withering putdowns. I use the Black Emporium an unhealthy number of times in all my playthroughs. I grok you completely here. Also: My Hawke never dies in the fade. Just no, not gonna happen. I can't stand Oghren. I can't stop playing Adaar in DAI. The broodmother chant in DAO scares me in the worst way possible. Cole is my least used companion in DAI, just don't have the patience to listen to him DA2 has the best lines in the entire series, imo. I appreciate the fact that Hawke can't win against the circumstances in DA2. It makes for a fascinating and moving story.

I'm torn between ME1 and ME2 - ME1 has a huge sentimental value for me as the introduction to the series and the general "first-everything" flavor.
ME2 has great characters, gameplay and loyalty missions. Also, Lair of the Shadow Broker.
ME3, while still a good games, comes third, not really because of the endings. I just don't care about Javik and Vega. Still, it has Omega DLC and there's no such thing as too much Aria for me.

Harding is very likeable, don't get me wrong. She fits very well into the role she plays in Inquisition, ie. the Little Miss Exposition you meet when entering every new region. But there's not a lot to her character. Compare her to Varric, who fills the same role (a dwarven archer rogue) but has a rich background of family issues and a tragic love affair to mine for quests and dialogue. Plus, he is Thedas' bestselling author. Harding ... used to herd sheep. That's the thing, she's cute and all, but her biography is not what I would call screenplay material. Still, why not, Josephine was also this kind of fluffy romance, and many people liked it (myself included). Besides, she would balance the more complex companions, since not everyone's into tears and drama.

Would love a female Zaeed. Would've been perfect if she was an Asari... This. I would really like to see Aria-like kind of character.

Yeah, that was one of my major gripes with FO4 - I'm supposed to be a grieving widow in frantic search of her son, and then I get sucked in all those quests which dilute the otherwise VERY pressing main plot. Makes little sense to me, narrative-wise. I agree, although to be fair, most RPGs are similar. Very true, I had a same problem with W3 - finding Ciri is a matter of life and death, but there's this contract, and then another contract...and then x hours in the game and I've barely scratched the surface. Actually, I'm not entirely sure there's a really effective solution to this issue in open-world games.

Oh, we have an opposite problem - I can't stay away from elves and humans in game... Mages for life! (Although, I like Dwarves, I'm not really very interested in them though.. And I can't make a proper Qunari, despite trying - I'm better off making Humans, elves and Dwarves, lol). Interesting! I find it relatively easy to make (what seems to me at least) an attractive f!Qunari, but for the life of me I can't create an elf/dwarf which wouldn't look like a cabbage-patch kid I'm gonna practise hard, though, or just steal faces from other players

Qunari! I don't even want to count the times I played them, it's just not healthy.
I also have, I think, 2 human playthroughs, they were ok, but nowhere as exciting as my horned adventures.
Started as a dwarf/elf once, but couldn't see it through. But I'm gonna definitely give them a chance again!

Just finished Witcher 3 NG+ mode only to discover I can't start another plus game from a NG+ save. So I'm off to Fallout 4, second playthrough. I'm thinking about getting some DLCs first, though.

Problem is, I don't feel like the game gives me enough info to make an informed decision regarding whether to conscript or ally with the mages. It's not really clear exactly how dangerous the free mages will be. Pro-Circle characters such as Cullen and Vivienne seem to think that rampant Abominations are very likely, even inevitable. The events of Here Lies the Abyss (and the Circle quest in DA:O) are also pretty intense. On the other hand, pro-rebel characters like Leliana, Josephine, Solas and Dorian seem to gloss over the risk of demon possession almost entirely. We additionally know that the Tevinter Imperium more or less manages to function without heavy restrictions on magic use. My initial choice was to conscript, mostly because of how dangerous mages seemed in DA:O, but the game painted me as a massive jerk in the aftermath and after speaking to Dorian I wasn't sure that I'd made the right decision. No matter which option I choose, several characters decide that I'm an idiot. So, what's the evidence for and against? Are Vivienne and Cullen right when they predict disaster, or will the mages, by and large, be able to control themselves? I think the fact that you are unable to make an informed decision seems the actual point - it's supposed to be a hard decision, because no-one can predict what will happen next. It's only speculation, as it should be, with uncertainty and risk-taking. And about companions judging you differently - it would really boring if they all agreed on one course of action, plus it shows how complex and multilayered the situation with the mages is.

I actually liked her much better in the pseudo-trailer from E3. Her slightly raspy voice, though, really appeals to me.

- Thane sucks. ME3 is better without him. In fact all drell suck. - I can't figure out why everyone loves Samara so much. I like her, but I don't get the adoration some ppl have. Maybe it's the boobs. Gods, yes, can't stand Thane either, pretentious emo-assassin, blah. And it's such a pity Morinth was left largely undeveloped - she'd make a really fascinating character, a genuine villain. I also have no problem with ME3 endings. Vega, Kaidan and Javik are basically non-existent in my playthroughs, don't find them interesting at all.

I wonder if that would change if Andromeda doesn't do well? Good point, we just have to wait and see, although I don't think MEA will sell poorly. That's the only upside of dealing with EA: they're fairly predictable, always about profit.
