Mass Effect hiatus speculation and reactions (consolidated thread)

It's EA's fault as much as it's BW's.  EA is BW.  If they didn't let a really unprofessional team do the game, it probably would have been much better.  Not to mention that the people complaining that bitching about the game killed it, that's BS.  What killed it is sales.  There are play through vids all over youtube.  I think anyone with half a brain can see that this game is not as good as the triology.  They changed a formula that worked for three games and made them major sellers.  They screwed up the animations.  There are still bugs all over.  I just got stuck in the ground and had to quit the game.  The game is fun.  I will admit that but I am ignoring the dialogue which is really bad and focusing on the exploration and the combat which is pretty damned good.  BW is known for their stories.  While the premise of Andromeda is good, they carried it out poorly.  We may see a return of Mass Effect eventually but I think EA will be much smarter about it and give the fans what they really want.  This is not the end of BW.  There will be another DA game for sure.  Hell I think there will be another ME game.  There is so much that they could have done, just needed to get it done by their pros.
