Cyberpunk 2077 (No Spoilers) Discussion Thread

Fucking hell that guys voice is annoying...

Anyway. If CD Projekt RED succeed in everything they've essentially promised, even after it's supposed binning, they will have created the greatest RPG ever made.

I also wouldn't be surprised if EA saw that CD Projekt RED was creating a system to make facial animations more realistic and decided to put out their own, cheaper, more rushed version first.

If this news is true I fear that 2077 could just become the year of release. Well, if that's the case I hope they won't mess up with the font size: considering that I will be 100 yo I'll need someone who can read the texts to me if their size is too small...

I have to say that I hope the rumors I heard about there being multiplayer are true; though multiplayer of a co-operative nature and not some lousy PvP versus mode, or a cheap horde mode. Those elements can be present to an extent, but I am really hoping that the fact that the PC is no longer a set protagonist like Geralt, and no longer a jack of all trades ubersmench means that the concept of having to work with a team of other professionals who each excel in certain areas, and ergo would lend itself to an open world/story based co-op experience.


One of my favorite Pen and Paper stories was when my two brothers and I were playing Cyberpunk 2020, at how we had to work together and plan for a big heist and then scramble when things turned pear shaped. I really hope that when 2077 releases we will be able to remake that experience in-game.

Ah well, that sucks but it's a good response from CDPR. Kinda takes the wind out of these a**hole's sails to make a statement first. Good on them.

I suspect a PR stunt. Release some info, get free publicity and check the fan reaction without commiting to anything.

Even if real, the situation is not a bad one. Unless the files are not that old and the public dislikes what it sees.

Unfortunately, CDPR has already said they won't be showing CP2077 at E3... It's still 2 years away, so that's not really surprising. 

Makes sense. Those are the classes he wrote for the pen and paper Cyberpunk 2020 games, more or less.
