Oh, Kalkstein was Zerrikaninan too. It could involve a bit more, but mainly Arabic. I mean, the "fire Scorpions" and all the alchemists and stuff that Zerrikania has, the naptha comes to mind, some sort of medieval napalm of sorts, kind of like greek fire, used by the Persians (apparently...). They say they're the most advanced when it comes to alchemists. Could have some influence in China too for all we know (black powder for bombs), I think it was mentioned in the second game, when they introduced bombs, that the Zerrikanians made the first bombs and exported them to the rest of the world.
Continuing to where the game may take place, up north there isn't really a lot left (in the known map anyways): we have Kovir and Poviss, and according to this wiki map they're already part of the Empire? I thought they were "neutral" during the war, however they're small kingdoms, Nilfaard could steam roll with relatively ease. Zerrikania is not even mapped either, but it's the only place mentioned before that we've never been.

Well, only mages can do that and they are fairly rare.
They're rare true but we are introduced to many powerful mages of note. Why don't they travel to distant lands? Why don't mages of similar power from other lands travel to the lands presented in game?
Witchers meditate (an Asian thing) and Geralt encounters a genie (an Arabic thing) yet there are no Asians or Arabs in game. Why not? In a world where people can teleport, why not? Aspects of other cultures are included in the game but the people that created these cultures are excluded. Why?
The guy is opposite of Sapkowski...easy going, great to listen to( most lesbians turn straight just from hearing his voice ), very enthusiastic about genre.

Yes, but the more diverse models they create for the world in general, the more diverse your Main can be. If the models are not supplied, the main is certain to be bland & with no choices.

No, it's not that time. And it would never be if people didn't feel compelled to jump on each and every troll attempt. Honestly - the whole thing has been sucked bloodless and dry by untalented rookie baiters. It's like a dick that's been shrunk to shrimp size - small, unremarkable and wrinkly. It still smells fishy, though.
I want characters to look interesting and different, as well as have interesting personalities & to be able to create a very cool looking character. I assume it will be the case, and I don't get the knee-jerk reaction. I still miss character customizations from NWN2 when they gave a wider range of elemental/demonic/celestial features, and tattoos/skin colours, masks and implants in SWTOR. Ethnic diversity makes the game more interesting beyond representation. I don't think there are aliens in the setting, so I am interested in as crazy/cool looking humans as possible.
I patiently waited for CDPR to finally move out of their first setting that is boring to me, so now they finally did, I am not gonna lie, I look forward to see what they would make out of the future humanity, both the bloods mixing, the languages mixing, and with all the tech blended in. Which is far more interesting to me than power-suits. I like the melting pot settings like Matrix, Serenity and Nar Shadda, and I hope Cyberpunk is like that, only more heavily cyborg-oriented. I love character creators, and hope for something techno-exotic (for both males and females) to come out.
For me unusual looking characters and character creation is far more appealing than the precise facial animations to enjoy the game. Fingers crossed they have resources and interest in doing it.

That's something I really look forward to with CP, for sure, creating really out there characters that are both unusual and fantastical through cyber-inspired stuff & bloodlines. I really hope they will have resources for it.

Agreed, and my expectation is CDPR will do what is best for the game. I expect we will see a more diverse cast than Witcher had simply given Cyberpunk's setting and I prefer that to, ahem, some other companies who make the game fit around their diversity check boxes.
The two biggest things I want for this game, both of which have been rumored at some point, is co-operative multiplayer like a drop in/drop out campaign, and full droid conversions being potential options for players.
Being based off of a pen and paper RPG, wherein you have to assemble a team of fellow operatives, each with a specific skill set, it makes the most sense that co-op should be included in someway as we already know that your character is not going to be a jack of all trades ubsermench and will need to have backup in some form or fashion. It might not be the most popular viewpoint, but I will be immensely disappointed if I can't run missions in Nightcity as a techie alongside my good friends playing as a Nomad and Solo respectively.
As for the augmentations, I want transhumanism to be a thing that the game mechanically lets us pursue if we want. Forget racial sliders, I want to but my brain and vital organs into a robot shell and have several templates for my designated role on the team. Need a (literal) tank to soak up fire? I've got a body for that. Need stealthy reconnaissance? This arial scout version works just fine. Etc.

Well, if CDPR want to make their own MMO-lite for gaming coops, it's their prerogative, but it will definetly will be a let down for me personally because I really wanted to see what they can come up with once they are creating something new.
