Andromeda is stomping the competition this year and I see no game that could challenge it until Bioware's next major release. I thought Zelda and Persona 5 were the only chances, but Zekda ended up being absolute shit and Persona 5 a mess of poor ideas and bad writing. There could be a surprise out there but I doubt it... I honestly don't keep up to speed with the yearly release schedule of big title releases and I buy very few games a year. I play only on PC so console exclusives are completely meaningless to me and fly far under my radar.
I spend the majority of my game time in online competitive MP games, C-S:GO being my current poison.
That being said, ME:A was easily my favorite game of 2017. I spent so much time playing it when it first came out I lost my rank in C-S:GO (which takes a month of inactivity.) The only other title that I plan on buying currently is Prey, as it looks right up my alley, but it still seems like it will pale in comparison to ME:A.
