Oh, no need to feel bad about it! I've played 140 hours without knowing that. Just another case of the 'brilliant user-friendly and intuitive' UI-design. So glad it's not just me then! Yup, those super intuitive tutorials worked soooo well. Seriously tho, some of the worst tutorials I've ever experienced, hours and hours into the game some things still eluded me.

But... We know that we can mine the resources using the Nomad's interface, don't we?! And there's no way we can miss a temperature drop.

None, actually. But I have one wish: Please, give us unexpected quests, as it was in ME2. We scan a new unfamiliar planet and suddenly find Anomaly - distress signal, or warning signal, or strange unreadable signal. We land on the planet and find a small but dangerous or mysterious or amusing adventure, or the beginning of series of small related quests. Let it be a small place - cave, abandoned mine or plant or ancient settlement, where you can quickly get on the Nomad or walk around. It would be fun and would make interesting the scanning of the planets.

The multiplayer is their little baby cash cow. Since it doesn't really impact SP it's worth keeping because it assures they will bring us more games. And I don't think it impacts SP budget at all. And it isn't required or impacts the actual SP campaign at all. I haven't touched MP yet, and strike teams ensure that not doing MP doesn't take away from SP. That's an improvement over ME3. If other people enjoy MP, I don't see the harm in it or the point in taking that away from them. They designed the combat system to appeal to the multiplayer crowd and that did hurt the single player. They replaced the class system with the profile system which was basically a system that uses multiple gimped classes instead of one robust class. Now you can only use three abilities and only in real time since they scrapped the power wheel and squad control is nearly nonexistent. That kind of game play is fine for MP fans but for Mass Effect fans that does not feel like Mass Effect anymore.

1. The MMO quests. 2. The MMO worlds. That's an important point. It's open world that's getting the criticism but that's the real problem with it. It felt like an MMO world (based on my experience of a grand total of one MMO played, admittedly).

For crying out loud, stop it! Stop blaming multiplayer for the messed up class\skills design! Guess what? ME3 had awesome MP AND SP with: 1. Excellent and fluid combat. 2. Direct squad control, including changeable and customizable weapons and manual casting 3. No restrictions for the Shep's skills. Direct access for ANY skill at ANY moment (PC having more hotkeys at a time, for obvious reasons).

Crafting, inventory management, stuff like wartable/AVP and a few hop-hop-hop stages of the quests here and there. It gotta be a very special quest that requires you to visit three different planets six times....

Less ambient dialogue from SAM of course. Everything not involving feedback from him is interesting.
Like if SAM is supposed to grow with Ryder, he should learn that hearing about the temperature every 10 seconds is annoying.

1-Multiplayer that impacts single player. (favorites bar, limited skills) I feel like these are there to help the multiplayer side. 2-Lack of control of our squad, and their skills. 3-remove the faster pace, no power wheel setup. This is Mass Effect. 3 skills aren't enough. 10-12 would be nice.
maybe make a pc game then port it to console not the other way around. Overall, I enjoyed the game, but I will probably never replay it. No need for another character when 1 character can do it all. And the pace of play seems more like Call of Duty in Space than Mass Effect.
I normally play soldier first to get a feel for the gunplay and then play other classes, but now there doesn't seem to be a need to. It's just run and gun.

The neverending fetch quest to get the memory triggers.
So unbelievably uninspiring and dull; if it wasn't for the memories I find quite interesting, I wouldn't bother.

Then all the animators.
Then all the sound guys.
All the weak points.

Make it possible to mute SAM's non-critical info (ie: this is how you mine and hazertious area warnings) both of which cut off the squad banter.
If they want to have you lvl up wepons and gear, don't have to rebuild it each time, just upgrade the gear/wepons you already have.
If there is still avp/strike team type things, to do, make it poissible to accept the rewards from the menu or forward stations, if they have forward stations.
Change the navigation UI to a combo of ME1 and 2. Mark the big map then push a button for a hint on the correct direction.
Make it poissible to have 5 active powers and make it possible to, at the very least, choose which powers your squadmates use most, if we still can't control the squad like you can in the OT.

Problem is they got so focused on their cash cow, they didn't work so hard at the rest of the game. If your base game isn't so good, having a cash cow only helps the developer and whatever players really like it. The rest of us say meh and play something else that has better single player.

The grain? Maybe so but in my opinion it should not even be there to start with. I don't need some fuzzy crap in a game I expect to be clear thus throwing the realism out the window. If I want fuzzy I will go out and get dice for the rear-view window of my car otherwise it was just a wasted resource that could have been spent better.

Then you are lucky for that was not what I had. For me the film grain in Mass Effect: Andromeda was auto forced. Even disabling the film grain in the menu -THE GAME STILL WENT AHEAD AND USED IT. Sigh. After 2+months just getting the game to work and then to be forced to use it... Had to go into the config files and even put disable code in the user.cfg file to finally get rid of it.
