What would you get rid of in future games to enhance the player experience?

Levelled weapons and gears, it's just pointlessly grindy and spoils immersion somewhat. Doesn't mean that some isn't better than others, but lose the grind. I don't think that ME2 suffered from not having levelled guns.

The three-power limit. Four should be an absolute minimum, and five would be best.

Crafting. Or at least simplify it - having both research and development just makes it terribly bloated.

The zoom in camera for conversations. Even a simple cut back /forth frontal cutscene is preferable.

R&D would be more intuitive and less "search the Helius cluster for a damn rock". I don't want to have to make a new gun every time I level it up. I'd rather have a base gun and add improvements as I go-higher damage, greater accuracy etc. Ditto armour.
I'm personally not a fan of the Prime and Detonate feature, but that's cause I like to headshot.

I don't think that ME2 suffered from not having levelled guns. Also one of the reasons why Mass Effect 2 is hardly an RPG. Everything got streamlined or cut out. That's fine but it became a linear action shooter with dialogue trees

Linearity and lack of choices is what makes a shooter instead of an RPG. An RPG needs enough choices and decisions, whether they're gear or plot or whatever, to shape your character, or at least believe you've got some agency with your character. It doesn't need levelling and grinding, or at least they're covered by the "game" part and not the "role playing" one.

I don't want to get into the RPG debate but for me personally, a game is not an RPG without statistical progression of the character's abilities, weapons or gear from a level perspective. Using the same gun I got as a level 5 vs the gun I'm using at a level 65 doesn't make much sense. I would rather have better guns and gear that are leveled up. Of course I would also always be happy with going with the common, uncommon, rare, legendary, exotic route and not have numbers associated

While it did work better in ME:A than dragon age but I can't wait for this open world thing to pass. Also I would love a return to the ME1 style of getting back on the ship doesn't mean I need to leave the planet, less loading screens the better or least make them shorter.

No more oh holds for loyalty stuff. Trim all of that insanity right off the bat.
remove landing/take off of tempest until you actually use the map to go somewhere. Too many cutscenes for that nonsense. Eos is bugged too so I am there on foot, then dragged into a cutscene of the tempest landing, then on foot again and usually some kind of weird pause mixed in there for good measure.
Remove profile cooldowns.
Simplify crafting. I like that we have it but I feel like we should have more research points coming in and the menu is cumbersome as all hell.
Extremely large maps with nothing on them. Make them a reasonable size (looking at you Elaaden) and get rid of the love affair with pointy mountains everywhere (looking at you Kadara). You want pointy mountains, fine. Just don't make it the whole bloody map. It's dickish.
Needing to upgrade the nomad for basic driving stuff like thrust, boost. If they are going to put things at the top of steep inclines on an early map then the nomad should be instantly capable of doing that upon arrival else it makes the dev team look like dicks.
All superfluous SAM chatter. And I mean ALL of it. I don't want that AI saying one damn word that doesn't absolutely have to be there unless there is an option to tell him to pls be quiet that makes him never say that thing again (kind of like how you tell him to just say we need codes upon arrival on Eos).

The need to scan ALL THE THINGS. Scanning was fun, at first, but utilized way too much.

SAM's superfluous dialogue, definitely. The HUD is already there, there's no need to repeat everything after the first time.
I liked the crafting, but the menu could be organized better. It would also be nice if it didn't lag my game.
Better descriptions of augmentations and powers (I guess that's a feature I'd add)

Crafting. Or at least simplify it - having both research and development just makes it terribly bloated. If they keep crafting then they need to do something about the fact that we have access to all blueprints automatically at certain levels. It utterly kills looting because the only thing you actually need to find is augmentations.

Also I was streamline all the galaxy map stuff. If they put any more than the barest minimum into that aspect of the game, it's a waste. People appreciate it for like 1 minute or maybe 2 then they want to get on with their lives. Sure it's graphically stunning at first, but it becomes a time sink must of us don't want pretty fast. One of the first things they added in an update was a skip option to it due to outcry for that option.

The multiplayer is their little baby cash cow. Since it doesn't really impact SP it's worth keeping because it assures they will bring us more games. And I don't think it impacts SP budget at all.

And it isn't required or impacts the actual SP campaign at all. I haven't touched MP yet, and strike teams ensure that not doing MP doesn't take away from SP. That's an improvement over ME3. If other people enjoy MP, I don't see the harm in it or the point in taking that away from them.

actually to be honest multiplayer dose impact single player. it takes time, manpower, and resources from single player development to create multiplayer.
as for me i would love to have more ability slots available. you give us all the abilitys and yet we can only have access to 3 at any given time? that makes no sense.
Profiles are fun but for the love of god get rid of the CD. it was advertised as a system that lets you adjust to the situation immediately not 10 seconds later after it finishes a CD.

Definitly remove the leveled weapons. Make them unlockable like in former ME-games and use craftable mods for item progression. Also: No more space sudoku (dont get me wrong, i really like sudoku, but hacking-minigames were always the bane of my ME-playthroughs)
