One of Mass Effect main pillar is the relationship & interraction build around squadmates.
To see the relationship changing to squadmember to friend to love interrest to soulmate is the most important part. Yes, the sex scene kind of show where the relation is going, thought it's a videogame, not a porn movie. I don't care if I see boobs or butts or dongs or naked alien stuff, I just don't want to sit in front of my tv watching animated porn for 2 hours. I would say the romance scenes with LI in Andromeda are okay, thought they could be longer. I mean, you flirt with once or twice, another time you kiss it, the third thime you 'wouhou' her/him. In total, it took 15minutes to go from 'I don't know you' to 'let's go bang toghetter all night long'.
And what I dislike the most, once you get the final romance scene with the LI, all next interractions with the LI behave normally, like if nothing happened. Could it be possible to make, at least for MEA2 or any upcoming updates to add some different dialogues, animations and behaviors when the LI is actualy the LI and when it's not ?
Example : Let's say Suvi is my LI. In the current game, Suvi is always sitting in the cockpit. When you go chat with her, she salutes you with 'Ryder', her normal dialogue shows, then you say I should go back to things and she anwser 'Sounds gud', even after you did 'study biology' with her in the science labs on the nexus. Instead, after you started romancing her, when you go talk with her, she could say something romantic instead of her normal talk, like 'hello my love' or something, and having more 'flirtarious animations' towards you. Also, instead of just sitting in the cockpit, she could also be seen in your cabin just chillin' there, waiting for some fun with you or just relaxing. IMO, this kind of stuff could make the LI less rigid and would feel more like a real relationship than a one night fling.

Agreed, and well said. In Jaal's scene, I would have been much happier with a fade to black after their hug in the water and then some kind of pillow talk afterwards (which really added to Cora's). No, instead we got graphic alien sex because... reasons. I happily picked Garrus as my Shepard's canon romance because of their emotional connection more than any "sex appeal". (Most) people pick the non-humanoid alien romances for their personality. And on the topic of how graphic nudity is less acceptable than graphic violence, not everyone really feels that way, either. I can't stomach graphic violence in movies or video games (I usually look away). I don't mind first person shooter kind of stuff, but long drawn out torture or people getting their limbs hacked off is a bit much for me. I didn't like it in GTAV (at least it was a short scene), and I won't play games like Dead Space or watch movies like Saw, either. Call me a wimp, but I do agree that some things are better left to the imagination. Seems incredible double standards to shooting and violently stabbing people as not graphic, yet view the rather tame nudity on display in sex scenes as graphic.

I said before I don't mind nudity and sex in games, but was referring to the last part of Jaal's romance scene because it got weird. And the shooting and stabbing people stuff typical in most shooters is quick and part of gameplay, not drawn out on-screen suffering like the torture stuff I was talking about.

What I liked about DAI was you could talk to your LI and go for a stroll or a make-out session or whatever. Like, I could take Josephine out for a walk in the garden and they'd kiss under the gazebo. No banging, just a moment of closeness with the LI. And it could be done multiple times.

It's ok that it's there for people that want it. Seems dumb to make it more explicit when that might get the game banned or rated different in places.
As for Andromeda I have yet to romance anyone in 2 playthroughs.
There is no one I want to romance.
The human characters either are questionable or under your command.
I never went for alien romances (besides Liana in OT).
Peebee is weird looking and WEIRD as well.
Jaal is cool but should you be romancing someone who is representing you to his people?
Logically it makes little sense that you can flirt and romance so many people in this game.
Again, I suppose some want that.
Others wish they didn't have to pay attention constantly making sure they didn't pick the "big heart" dialogue.

A lot of people enjoyed it, and I read it was something Patrick Weekes thought of later in development and wrote the dialogue for over a weekend. Solas' romance is one of my favorite romances, if not the favorite. It has less content but I feel that what content it does have is well-done and well-thought out. It contains what I love to see in romances: character insight. The addition of a romance added something valuable to Solas' characterization, in my opinion. An example is how it helps make it clear that Solas is doing what he is because he thinks it is necessary, not because he wants to. It's something that can be seen outside of the romance path but it's shown in a different way on the romance path. The romance didn't feel like it was there just to be a romance for the player's enjoyment: it felt like it was there to explore another side to the character of Solas. I think it's a good example of what I prefer when it comes to romance: the romance is shaped by what fits the character being romanced and allows insight into said character.

Seems incredible double standards to shooting and violently stabbing people as not graphic, yet view the rather tame nudity on display in sex scenes as graphic. Something that never seized to amaze me with games like that. Let heads explode in a shower of blue or green gore, but don't show blue butt or nipple.

I thought the scenes in MEA were well done. For BW, making games that focus so strongly on characters and their interactions and relationships it would be more weird if we didn't have romances and if those romances didn't lead to sex. Having intimate scenes with the characters is a natural part of the experience. I don't think anyone wants, you know full interactive quicktime events or anything, but just having fade to blacks would(and does) feel underwhelming.

Nothing wrong with being treated for making the effort to romance a character in-game. Detailed love scenes can bring feeling to the characters you ship together and many enjoy that. Like with Cora, you can tell she desires Scott, and with Jaal, he adores Sara.
All my life I loved stories where a romance was part of the plot, and MEA gave me that.
BW games are strongly focused on relationships (it's not just about slashing with a sword or shooting up bad guys. If people are buying them for that, they will be disappointed), so romances are integral and sometimes like in DAI, heavily connected to the main plot.
As for the nude scenes in MEA, while 3 are explicit, 2 can be refused, so it's up to you if you want to see things or not, or just don't romance the one that will show things you don't want to see.

I perceived MEA as a lighthearted game for young teens. This group should be able to play this game so delete the sex-scenes and they can join the fun.

Sex scenes being the offending factor for young teens. Violence never is. Should remove them, so the tender feeling of the kiddies aren't hurt while blowing up enemies. Apart from the fact that the game has a rating for a reason. It's not intended for young teens.

It's telling that gamers call whatever they don't like a waste of resources and development, when not everyone shares their own tastes.
