Credits are now based on how many waves YOU actually complete

If I have a game with 4 people and one of them drops out due to whatever, I want to encourage people to join my game to help me finish. Not have them waste their time with a lower payout. Especially when they can't even tell they're joining a GIP in the first place.

Only thing for me is that I can only complete (that is, ticking it of the Strike Teams menu) an APEX mission is if I do all 7 waves: it stays on there if I join the mission as it's in progress.

And, no, you can't auronio, so a GIP indicator would be nice indeed...

Already had to leave a game after getting put into one in progress. Can't wait to do that a thousand more times because of this big 'fuck you' to players.

I would have no problem with this if there were a clear indication that you are about to join a GIP.

For my situation, this is helpful. Since I am plagued with CTDs. Some credits are better than nothing.

I usually start solo and wait for reinforcements, but now it will be discourage.

The constant loss of boosters keeps me from going gold lobbies. So I play on silver without boosters (PC).

Level up new characters solo on bronze.

So THAT'S why I haven't gotten any credits over the past few weeks!

I honestly think it's debatable whether all this was worth it to address credit glitching.

Coming up with a system to avoid losing experience/credits when disconnected is great. But implementing it did not require penalizing players who join in progress - that was done to prevent credit glitching, and in practical terms, it really comes off as punishing the community for the actions of the few.

And I doubt it will accomplish much. The theory behind actions like this has always been that credit glitching represents a direct loss to the company, and I really don't believe that has ever been particularly true. Some of the credit glitchers would have bought packs, but most of them likely wouldn't have spent much regardless of whether the exploit existed.

Ultimately speaking

it`s not a good idea to implement any change that deters a player from joining and playing the game. 

This shit makes me want to cheat
