Credits are now based on how many waves YOU actually complete

Not to mention you lose out on XP as well.

Hit me up sometime. We haven't played together in probably 3-4 years, but you're still on my friends list from playing 3 (I had a different name then). I've got 6-7 friends I play with regularly, so I've almost always got at least two people online. We 3-man Golds about as often as we fill out the team with a PUG, so we often have room.

Consider this an open invitation to join if you see me in a party with fewer than 4. Would've invited you when I've seen you on, but didn't know if you'd care to join since it's been so long.

With so many people saying this, I wouldn't be surprised to see an indicator added in the next patch. As much as we (the community, not directed at you) complain about boneheaded design decisions -- and yes, many have been warranted -- they've actually been proactive in addressing a number recurring player complaints. E.g. in this patch they addressed among other things the complaints about ARs sucking and krogan feeling indistinguishable from other races.

I'd recommend making this suggestion in one of the upcoming Twitch feeds. The more direct, concise, and polite you are, the more likely you'll be heard.

As in, players aren't spending enough real money on MEAMP, so we need to make it harder for them to earn anything by simply playing. Those who don't simply quit in frustration will start spending more money, right?

Thats inconsistent with what some people, myself included, have been seeing. It's not surprising in the least. Inconsistencies seem to be the norm.

Reading through this thread, I asked the question "what happens when host migrates?" to myself. If I were a betting man I'd put my money on losing credit for all previous waves. It could be fine though. As they say, even a blind hog finds an acorn occasionally.

I joined one that was 1:15 into the first wave and cleared ~ 10 seconds later.

With full extraction, my payout was 47,142, which is 6/7 of 55K.  At least that calculation makes sense.

A lot of times my connection is so laggy that by the time I spawn in, EVEN FROM A FULL LOBBY OF FRIENDS (not a PUG/GIP), enemies are already shooting at me.

I wonder if this is going to count as "not there for all of Wave 1" and bogart my credits?

There was a thread somewhere (here? reddit?) that the scoreboard is (no longer?) adding your medals, but if you add those points manually it is pretty much the same as always.

I've also noticed that scores at the end of the game seem to be quite a bit lower than they were pre-patch.

It's... odd.

The medal scores are no longer included in the final scoreboard in the lobby, even though they are displayed in-game. They final XP is however calculated correctly.

Heh, the only time I could see all 3 of your teammates dropping out is if you are hosting on a shitty connection.

Maybe this will help to make those people quit trying to host games after they go through enough full-team dropouts and have to solo everything, lol.

...i'm only half serious.
