Instead of the pessimistic attitude towards DLC, perhaps people should keep letting them know on twitter that they're interested in SP DLC.

Instead of the pessimistic attitude towards DLC, perhaps people should keep letting them know on twitter that they're interested in SP DLC. Theyre probably more worried about the hit to the brand if the DLC is on par with the base game. Theyre either taking their sweet time polishing the DLC that was surely in place, or its been shelved. I'd think the later - as theyd have to go back and fix all the derpy eyes and animations for DLC as well.

I look to the past as a judge on the future. Every main Dragon Age and Mass Effect game has had DLC. I really cannot see them dropping it entirely for ME:A. We may get less than was originally planned, but we'll get at least one piece of DLC.

I have to admit I feel the motivations of starting this thread are more then a little odd: "OK, don't worry guys ME DLC doesen't release until 5 months after release. Lets wait and see." *several posts later* "Everyone who liked MEA panic! you won't get any DLC! We haven't heard anything yet even though we are still more then a full month away from my prediction of when it would drop!" Indeed laughable isn't it?

Instead of the pessimistic attitude towards DLC, perhaps people should keep letting them know on twitter that they're interested in SP DLC. You're still not aware you're dealing with a shareholder company? If it makes economic sense from their standpoint, based on figures and market research none of us has access to, there will be DLC(s). If not than not. Twitter won't change that.

BioWare DLC always improves and enhances upon the base game in some way and actually improves on it while giving us new and interesting scenarios. All the way back to Bringing Down the Sky anyway.

...and EA probably doesn't want to tarnish it even more with DLC. Seems to me that having none at all has a greater chance of doing damage than otherwise. Of course, this all operates on the assumption of what the actual quality of the DLC would be like, even though historically DLC content tended to be more focused and tighter in execution than most of the base content of most of the games in the ME and DA franchise. I know, I know. Biower is shit now no way can this happen...or something like that.

Indeed I think having none at all would be moer damaging to Bioware in this instance because of the unanswered questions because people would likely stay away from future projects because they'd want a complete story and we wouldn't have got one with MEA if it stayed as it is.

I'm sure DLC will arrive but if BW has its hands full with other projects then lend the franchise to Obsidian. I'm sure something good will come out.

Speculation: this could mean be the geth are the benefactor and that they are in Andromeda aboard the quarian ark, and that might be the reason why the quarian ark is lost.

Yes, it certainly looks that way. I find that theory very plausible...I suppose we just have to wait and see what will happen in future.

Instead of the pessimistic attitude towards DLC, perhaps people should keep letting them know on twitter that they're interested in SP DLC. This is a great idea, and I've noticed people doing just that. But better than that, I've noticed people like Michael Gamble and Ian F. retweeting those posts. I feel like they wouldn't retweet a lot of "Please more! We want DLC!" if the response was "No." That would be odd.

So they're not brushing it under the carpet or anything, I'm pretty sure that we've got DLC to come ^^

They obviously needed more time with development, but everywhere you look in the game, you can see they put a lot of work into it. There is just too much of those little details for people who know where to look for them. One example - galaxy map. It ´ s seriously one of the most beautiful and detailed things I ´ ve ever seen. But only for people, who know how to appreciate it.

Gamble is favoring tweets asking for DLC in his vacation tweet. He also did that with the #MakeJaalBi tag, and guess what we got in patch 1.08? Flynn saying ME is their main hardcore sci-fi IP when discussing Anthem is also another hint ME is not going anywhere and there's more to come! Have a good week everyone!

A lot of it is everyone has to have instant gratification in regards to media now of days, and with a general lack of patience (and I admit that I have had to learn the value of patience the hard way, but still I have my limits) comes the "if we haven't heard any news must be bad" mentality and angry rantings from the haters and/or the gloom & doom crowd.
