I've got an unnamed source that says I'm the next CEO of EA. I can't confirm or deny it, but since EA isn't talking and this is the internet... it all has to be true. Raises for everyone! Ian tweeted something like this on his Twitter during the SN thing haha He did? Dang it. I'm always late to the party...

Also forgot to mention in my original comment, but Eurogamer also states there is no longer BioWare Montreal as all developers were moved to to other projects. Which is quite false, considering MW Montreal is still around and releasing free content and patches. This week will be first time they won't release nor update anything, but that's due to Canada Day and 4th of July. Nothing unexpected. I posted that too. More Kotaku stuff. I wonder if they paid them off to make that, so they look credible? I doubt it, especially since Eurogamer is much bigger then Kotaku. It's probably just typical lazy reporting from gaming press, even though more effort was put overall then with any out outlet.

I do agree about there being no official word from Bioware. But Eurogamer is somewhat more believable when reporting than Kotaku (not much more, this is gaming media afterall). As they claim their own source is saying the same. Though the source could be their friend Dave who has never worked in the gaming industry at all. My name is David and I've never worked in the industry my whole life. But yeah...

Or this source is the same one Jason talked to, since they both said the the same exact thing about being close to BW, but not actually working there.

I'll be disappointed if there is no DLC (and i cannot believe EA would pass up the chance to make money); however I am puzzled as to why some people see it as a reason to celebrate a 'victory.
Victory over what exactly? Having the option to pay to have some more of something you enjoy?
That's just fucking weird, and honestly just tells me there is more than just not liking ME:A (which is fine, there is nothing that says you have to like everything) at work.

Sociopathy. These people operate on a worldview that anything that isn't made just for them deserve to be dragged down, and the people who make and enjoy those things deserve harassment and abuse, if not to outright die.

It's not a victory for anyone except the most miserable person. The old guard at BioWare is gone. They've moved on and many fans just don't want to let go and give a chance to the new, tougher developers that are actually working on a canvas that is super cranky, but damn beautiful.

I don't understand the point of that article for the majority of it seems to be about Sinclair Networks. One thing that bugs me about that article is that "Reese seemed surprised by the number of fans who had believed the hoax." the problem is that it was the media that fell for it harder, fans are the ones that did the most investigating to prove it was a hoax and no mention of that. At the end there is one paragraph about Jason's latest article and "A source close to BioWare has told me similar". That final paragraph seems out of place to the rest of the article.
As far as does it change my feeling about if there will be DLC or not, I just don't have an expectations one way or the other for the only for me to expect DLC for a game is to have a season pass for then they are charging people for content. You can point out all the information for DLC and against DLC all you want, but unless EA or BioWare themselves start to talk about DLC that is the only time I will have an expectation one way or the other.

Query: Did the organic provide any indication of the source being real, Master? It's Kotaku. Again. Doubling down. And dragging the lazy down with them. HK-47, you can engage with extreme prejudice. Affirmative: Yes, Master. Charging weapons, Master. Query: Did the organic provide any indication of the source being real, Master? Hk, you know these easy fooled, low minded meat bags didn't. Why would you ask? Answer: I was trying to talk you into activating my Assassination protocol, Master.

Well it was likely the fans commenting on the articles, and sending threats to the devs on Twitter about it this person was talking about. However, how can they think people would not believe it when BW/EA has said nothing? Lots of people don't know how EA marketing works.

Rereading the thread and there was a lot of disbelief and a few angry posts, but after page one... it was looking suspect and after page four, I speculated enough it was bullcrap. We're treated like dummies. Lazy ass (censoring sixteen expletives)!

Yup, but the media controls the narrative. How utterly convenient for them. Yeah it seems they focused on the ones who commented on the articles or tweeted their despair and anger. Pretty much all of that appeared in the first three pages, but the cracks began to show up big time when you started copy and pasting the "bizarre" and "... not even" quotes. Once Croatsky and Abaris got on the case, it was over. Yet, the forums exposed it and we're the crybabies. No justice. No journalism. Just newsertainment.

I've seen precisely ONE person on these forums acting like a dick about the possible/probable cancellation of DLC (I can't find anywhere else except reddit even talking about ME:A). Yet all I keep reading here is that there is some mega conspiracy against ME:A. It is frankly bizarre. DLC will come out or they won't. In the meantime the reactions here are making many of you you look unhinged.
