They'll probably all be ultra-rare and so therefore basically impossible to get and unplayable when you do get your single card, sigh. Too bad, because they look really cool... All but the Batarian Vanguard are listed as rare. |

I am thinking, and maybe even more so than that, hoping, that the human portion is all just placeholders in lieu of them not having decided on a race yet. Because having 4 of the 5 new classes be human would be extremely boring. We don't know the passives yet. They can make a big difference. |

- Defensive drone looks like it might be a passive. Shield regen and some sort of stunning feature maybe? This is probably the passive power that you get with the Engineer profile in Single-player. They get a little glowing disco ball that floats over their shoulder and explodes in a stun if something gets too close. Frankly, it blows up all the time, so it might be very annoying if you lose some abilities while you wait for it to respawn. I think it takes like 10s to come back up in SP. I really see it working weirdly in MP since you have much less control over when an enemy gets close you. Rather than a nice oh sh!t power, it will just be popping all the time. I think it will be a bit like Ascension where you are actively avoiding enemies and sticking to cover so you don't lose it. |

Maybe not up to Platinum, but a rank I UR character is still more than adequate for Gold. They're not -as- good as a rank X-XX character, obviously; killing, again obviously, is a little slower, but it's not like they're bad, and far from unplayable. Hornet IX is just Rare, and hardly optimal compared to many other options, but that, too, worked just fine. Better weapons and higher rank characters just makes things easier, they're not absolutely necessary to play. Example: Angara Avenger I (lvl 14) with Hornet IX.  |
