Completed New Game Insanity from scratch Level 1. Extremely stingy with resources and very unforgiving of small mistakes, but loads of fun.
Anyway, If you get the complete ending, it's clear that there are tons of clues that the story isn't over. The Kett are still in Helius, there is a Kett civil war brewing, the Benefactors are lurking somewhere with who-knows-what agenda, the Jardaan might notice the activation of Meridian and investigate, the scourge needs explaining and resolution. I suspect a sequel. Or a Trilogy.
There are ample plots for DLC drops finishing up the loose ends of settling Helius and reconciling all the species.
Frankly, I hope that all happens. I really liked the game, despite the minor imperfections.

I don't think Bioware would ever make a game with zero intent at a sequel or continuation - and I fully agree that DLC and/or a sequel was planned for Andromeda.
I also think the games reception changed those plans.

Since it's EA/BW there will doubtless be some DLC to finish the picture, but I do think that the aggressive patch schedule they've been on might push it back 30 or more days from when DLC usually drops.

I'm starting to think that the aggressive patching process that BW is undertaking with regards to ME:A is delaying the inevitable DLC, much like ME3's Extended Cut delayed its DLCs.

I'm not trying to defend EA, however there isn't another corporation that isn't like EA... they all like money, hell we all do. My point was that they won't not release a planned dlc. They like money too much. Two other options: 1) The cost to make single player DLC might be too high to warrant its release based on active player numbers only they have. Seeing the incomplete state Andromeda was in at release, I doubt they had much of any DLC in production or ready to go. 2) The revisitation of online ridicule and mockery when they've just introduced Anthem might sway them to sweep Andromeda under the rug and focus on looking forward towards the positives.
