Why don't we have one of these yet? Here's a place for people to talk about films! Whether it's an old favorite, an upcoming release or an indie flick that slid under everyone else's radar, here's the place to talk about it! Here are some of my all time favorites, to start us off: Aliens Pulp Fiction Terminator Django Unchained The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Star Wars Empire Strikes Back There are a lot more I'm not thinking of, but that'll do for now. I want to watch Kubo and The Two Strings, but the nearest theatre showing it is 45 minutes away, and I guess they're going to stop playing it after Thursday.

It was brilliant, one of the best! Walton Goggins was awesome. All of my friends were meh on that movie when we went and saw it, but I loved it, especially the music. |

Went to see Dr.Strange today. All I knew about it was that it's a marvel movie, nothing else. I'd give it 7/10 which I think is good. The special effects were pretty awesome, I liked Mads Mikkelsen as the bad guy and Benedict Cumberbatch did a good job as Dr.Strange. Tilda Swinton is also one of my personal favorites. I would have liked a bit more plot and dialogue stuff to make characters more fleshed out. All in all, very entertaining.

Last movie I saw was Dr. Strange, last Sunday. I'm not normally into superheros, so I didn't know much about the character.
But the movie itself was good. The special effects were all top notch. But there were some interesting plot holes. And I can't really say I liked the villain, as a villain. And thats a key for me. I have to like the villain, I don't mind if they loose though.
Overall, I'd say it was a fun movie. But if your like me, and not that big into superheros, then you can go ahead and skip it.

I'm probably not going to see that fantastic beasts movie. I didn't really have an interest in the harry potter movies, and this looks to be along the same vein.
I might want to go check out allies, and def want to see that new Star Wars movie.
Also, I did see arrival. That movie was very thought provoking, but I'm not sure if I'd call it good. Interesting, certainly.

As 1 of the very few who liked Prometheus, I am very intrigued by this flick. (Despite being very cautiously optimistic.)
Makes me wonder though; Is David luring humans into the clutches of the creature? Where is Shaw? How did David get his body back? Why are people risking shower sex in this kind of movie??

I liked Prometheus too and I have been waiting to see Covenant. The really good thing going for it is that it has such a low bar to go over and I will be satisfied. It falls into that category of cult films for me and as part of the Alien series, it just need to provide a sense of sequence to the rest of the episodes. |

Anyone watch the "Mars" miniseries on National Geographic? It left me feeling kind of excited about ME:A. (Though it didn't quite inspire me to go back to No Man's Sky.)
