Fake news media only ever spins stories in favor of crooked (and Polish!) CD Projekt Red. Not patriots!

They will claim this is proof they were right about MEA and Casey was brought back to save it from Montreal's failures. I mean, is that not a logical thought?

I would love to see them for once just not put any spin on it, since people can want to leave a job for any number of personal reasons and they can be let go for a number of different corporate reasons not related to job performance or for a number of different reasons related to job performance. When media puts a spin on a person leaving a company in the absense of actually being told the actual reasons (which is usually the case), the "spin" they put on it is usually just to fuel whatever previous wild speculations they've already made. It's a vicious cycle of speculation on top of speculation that quickly spirals out of hand.
I would also love to see the people here on this forum also just not put any spin on it either... wishful thinking I know... so carry on.

Considering how little is actually known about what's going on behind the scenes at Bioware... no, it's not a logical thought. I used to work at a small company... about 45 employees. It went out of business. One of my best friends was second in command, only just lower than the owner of the company. Now, if someone were to ask me why the company went out of business, I'd only be able to give my version of events. It would be the same if someone asked the owner, or if someone asked one of the data entry folks. Nobody really has a full picture of what's happening with clients, company politics, logistical problems... etc. That's the way it was, by the way. Rumors were flying everywhere and people were pointing fingers left and right and every which way. This is why I laugh at anyone who thinks they have the definitive analysis of what's going on behind the scenes at Bioware. Nobody here knows. Even a dev, if they chimed in, would only be able to give their version of events... a version that very likely would be disputed by other employees.

Did you read my post in TechRaptor? I left the spin seperate from the article. Frankly there is one of two ways it goes, either EA meddled, or it was mutual agreement and Flynn was burned out. But more to the point, it is kind of irrelevent.

i think casey hudson has been in talks of this for awhile. or that when he left bioware he had probably talked that if in the event that a position like general manger became vacant he would go and fill the position. i think its a natural choice to have him as the replacement GM. i dont know why he aryan flynn left bioware, but i have a hard feeling it was because of the fact MEA was doing poorly. if you think about anthem isnt coming out for another year and half, dragon age wont be coming until after that, and with someone who is already familiar with anthem and the next dragon age either in pre development or at least very very early development, MEA at least according to Kutako is really only going to get patch work and multiplayer fixs,i think that he thought it was a good time between everything to leave the company and know that it was going to be in very good hands. i doubt he was fired for being incompetent as he has a really extensive resume and one game isnt enough to ruin his career. and with so many issues with the development didnt really involve him as he was focusing on dragon age and anthem.
granted with Casey taking the reins of bioware im curious to see if he will change the idea or focus of the next few games. will they be focusing on the next ME game or stick to the course of the anthem then next work on dragon age? no bloody idea.

I do not care for the fantasy spin of the spin-makers, the word journalist is a misnomer these days and I refuse to use it.
I hope Casey Hudson speaks on behalf of the games under his supervision and the intent to the future of those games. The man has his right to privacy and it is no one's business why he came back. If he does want to share private information that is his prerogative but I think he is smarter than that.
Entitlement in many instances is out of control in our society and a burden for people in responsible positions. Our society seems past debating/criticizing with words only and I find it oft shameful/respectless and not in proportion with reality.

Tbh the assertion from a certain journalist that no DLC is coming was a pretty bold claim, even if it is dressed up in get-out clauses. I suspect that if one does get released, said journo will likely seize upon Casey's return as the big catalyst that changed everything, and will quote his secret sources to back it up.
The rest of the journos don't really have a dog in this race anymore, they kind of dropped their reviews of Eos and left the arena. I doubt they'll spin into anything.

The rest of the journos don't really have a dog in this race anymore, they kind of dropped their reviews of Eos and left the arena. I doubt they'll spin into anything. The gift of speculation. You can always cover your tracks with unnamed sources or make a credible excuse that you were wrong. I hope Schreier just stops talking. His book is coming out on September 5th and I am getting a copy. I know going into the book, it's going to be filled with anonymous sources (and frankly that's just not good enough) but even if he only gets 90% of his speculation right, it's still 90% more than what we're getting from BioWare. If anything, it will be a great book for those entering the gaming business because it will show you how well laid-out plans go awry by a few bad decisions. Also, Hudson isn't get any love from me. I'm salty as hell about ME3's ending and the way he conducted himself afterwards. The ending wasn't really an issue for me after the Extended Cut. I was playing the game on full OCD so I was progressing slower than the rest of the world. When I got to the ending, the EC ending was already in place and I was "okay" with it. Destroy ending was just a FUBAR for me because the Geth and EDI deserved a chance. So, yeah... (takes a deep drag from a perfectly rolled jay)... "merde."
