If you take a look at the "numbers" suikoden is so proudly presenting, you see that HZD is on the 4th place in March, while ME:A is on the 3th place, the same goes for April ME:A outsells HZD. Only in May ME:A falls back. Not bad for a game that is stamped on and ridiculed, compared to a game that is praised into heaven, don't you think? And yes - I only named those numbers to show that, even if you take that kind of numbers seriously (like suikoden seems to do), ME:A did not bad at all if you take the circumstances into account. That is not to say that I personally take those numbers serious, because of the reasons I explained later on. I hope this makes it clear? How can you be proud of ME:A by saying that it did well against a game (HZD) that came out a month earlier meaning that most of its sales where in February and was only available for the ps4? ME:A should have crushed it with it being available on all 3 major platforms. You write that implying HZD made huge impact on february NPD chart. Lets take a look shall we? February 2017 Top 10 games (physical + digital) by revenue: 1. For Honor 2. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard 3. Grand Theft Auto V 4. NBA 2K17 5. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare 6. Yes it came out feb 28 and that is why NPD didn't include it at all in the february chart. All initial sales are summed on the march chart. So MEA outsold HZDs feb and march sales in the US in five days.

And it outsold Horizon in the US, yes, for that month - and again in April, before bowing out these past two months. I've always said Andromeda sold at launch, but it seems the memes and reviews have had an effect, at least in the US, as sales have fallen while its comparable competition have performed better.

Dude, you're suggesting pokemon and COD stole DAI's audience. Let's not start accusing people of ignoring logic, please. What I meant was COD and Pokemon appeals to a larger audience while DAI appeals to a smaller audience. When you appeal to a larger audience you get more sales. That is why despite the success of DAI, it still sold way less than the other gamea that came out between August 2014 - November 2014. That is why DAI never really cracked the top 10. MEA cracked the top 10, but didnt have to go up against the same juggernaut franchises as DAI. We all know exactly what you meant. The whole point behind this thread is to drone on about MEA failed and presumably Suko didn't think through his new troll properly, and as a result he's now posted an attempt to show MEA sold badly that ended up demonstrating it did better than DAI by the logic he established. You're trying to plug this gap with what you have to work with. Believe me, everyone gets it. No-one is under any illusions here. The fact you're trying to push this daft idea of 'juggernaut franchises' as the sole sales metric is not necessarily a problem - making a properly reasoned argument is not a requirement for posting on these forums - the point was simply to remind you that you don't really have the credit to question other people's logic when your own argument relies on the idea DAI had it's audience eroded by Call of sodding Duty and EA sports. Come on, man.

How does a blatant shit-stirrer get seven pages in response to obvious crap? To be fair, he's pretty good at it. The main issue is that trying to hide behind complexity of data on a forum full of RPG nerds is a bit like trying to stay out of sight of a pack of wolves by covering yourself in bacon rashers.

Another 'informative' thread from one half of the BioWare Bash Brothers. Pathetic. Sad and now... very amusing. I'm loving watching these guys devolve into passive-aggressive bullies hiding behind anonymity. Karma is coming. No need for name-calling. If anything, Bioware detractors are the ones being bullied - over and over again, everyday - an example being your own passive aggressive post right here. And the posters that will follow you into this thread spewing similar comments. I've read your posts about autism and all I have to say is this: I'm not your shield.

I have seen these phone cards that you buy a digital copy for the consoles (and probably the PC) at stores like Wal-Mart. Are those "buy any game type cards"? If so, it would still be online and I never see those numbers. It's always physical copies. Do sites like Steam, GoG.com, Ubisoft, Beamdog, Origin, Microsoft, Bethesda, etc. put out those numbers on a regular basis? You would think that would be easily accessible. No, these are/were just buy ME:A and download from Microsoft and/or Sony. Now I've seen a few other games (and FTR the ones for ME:A are for the FULL game this isn't the trial version) for both Xbox One and the PS4, and they are big AAA games like Final Fantasy XV, Battlefield 1, and the current Call of Duty game. They were also selling the phone card standard version of ME:A for $60, with a digital deluxe version for $70, and the standard disc version for $40 for both consoles in the same store.

Maybe that's even easier than waiting 2-4 days for my credit union to allow the charge through Origin go through. It's only with Origin that my credit union does that. Everyone else snatches up my money in 1.2 nanoseconds after confirming.

Yes it came out feb 28 and that is why NPD didn't include it at all in the february chart. All initial sales are summed on the march chart. So MEA outsold HZDs feb and march sales in the US in five days. It came out on March 21st, so 10 days, not 5. And it outsold Horizon in the US, yes, for that month - and again in April, before bowing out these past two months. I've always said Andromeda sold at launch, but it seems the memes and reviews have had an effect, at least in the US, as sales have fallen while its comparable competition have performed better. And I have debunked that time and again since MEAs sales behaviour is par for course when it comes to ME games. I'll reiterate for you and perhaps it will stick this time (fat chance) MEA is charting better than ME3, not even ME2 managed to keep it's top ten position for three months. Nothing has changed, nothing is new. You're just a balloon.

At this point, it should be painfully obvious that the people who desperately need to convince themselves that the game was a failure, when presented with the overwhelming evidence that it is not, will only double down on their delusion and vendetta against the fandom rather than accept reality.

But why does this bother you so much? If you cared you would have bought the game and played it, rather than rely on a few hours of the rushed release on the preview and memes. That doesn't seem like someone who cares. And I care because 1) your obsession doesn't seem healthy and 2) you basically spam the forum with a multitude of threads saying the same thing. That kind of thing sets a real negative tone; why not just create one thread for all of your repetitions and be done with it?

I mean, if you don't like his threads this much, you have the option of not posting in it. He's not doing any offense. If you all can praise this game to the heavens, he can do the contrary. It's that simple. Bothered? Then don't bother.

ME3 doubled ME2 first week sales, and was on track to outsell it since then, probably reaching 5 millions if not more. That's what the reports said. Can't say the same about MEA, unfortunately.

ME3 was 3.5 million in the first month. ME:A was around 3 million in the first month, based on estimates regarding its sales ranking in comparison to other games with known sales rankings. And based on knowing about 1.5 million Xbox One players own ME:A, over 5 million is a very reasonable estimate for ME:A sales. Sorry to burst your bubble.
