NPD June Sales Data Just Released: Andromeda falls out of top 20

It came out on Feb 28... It sold 2.6m in it's first 2 weeks according to Sony.  That's worldwide sales though, so its number on the NPD chart for it's 4th place ranking would be lower.

It came out on March 21st, so 10 days, not 5.  And it outsold Horizon in the US, yes, for that month - and again in April, before bowing out these past two months.

I've always said Andromeda sold at launch, but it seems the memes and reviews have had an effect, at least in the US, as sales have fallen while its comparable competition have performed better.

We all know exactly what you meant. The whole point behind this thread is to drone on about MEA failed and presumably Suko didn't think through his new troll properly, and as a result he's now posted an attempt to show MEA sold badly that ended up demonstrating it did better than DAI by the logic he established. You're trying to plug this gap with what you have to work with. Believe me, everyone gets it. No-one is under any illusions here.

The fact you're trying to push this daft idea of 'juggernaut franchises' as the sole sales metric is not necessarily a problem - making a properly reasoned argument is not a requirement for posting on these forums - the point was simply to remind you that you don't really have the credit to question other people's logic when your own argument relies on the idea DAI had it's audience eroded by Call of sodding Duty and EA sports. The main issue is that trying to hide behind complexity of data on a forum full of RPG nerds is a bit like trying to stay out of sight of a pack of wolves by covering yourself in bacon rashers. 

No, these are/were just buy ME:A and download from Microsoft and/or Sony. Now I've seen a few other games (and FTR the ones for ME:A are for the FULL game this isn't the trial version) for both Xbox One and the PS4, and they are big AAA games like Final Fantasy XV, Battlefield 1, and the current Call of Duty game. They were also selling the phone card standard version of ME:A for $60, with a digital deluxe version for $70, and the standard disc version for $40 for both consoles in the same store.

And I have debunked that time and again since MEAs sales behaviour is par for course when it comes to ME games. I'll reiterate for you and perhaps it will stick this time (fat chance) MEA is charting better than ME3, not even ME2 managed to keep it's top ten position for three months. Nothing has changed, nothing is new. You're just a balloon.

Im not sure if ME3 was the best selling ME game, but if true, wouldnt you expect each ME game to sell more than the previous?

Maybe. Maybe not. I don't think that should have anything to do with if a game is good or sold well, though.

Why shouldn't he? I mean, if you don't like his threads this much, you have the option of not posting in it. He's not doing any offense. If you all can praise this game to the heavens, he can do the contrary. It's that simple. Bothered? Then don't bother.

ME3 was 3.5 million in the first month.

ME:A was around 3 million in the first month, based on estimates regarding its sales ranking in comparison to other games with known sales rankings.

And based on knowing about 1.5 million Xbox One players own ME:A, over 5 million is a very reasonable estimate for ME:A sales.
