By normal standards, how much does a game have to make in order to get dlc?
Then you have to suppose how well it has to do in EA terms to get more dlc.
Usually by now there would be some sort of leak or indication. If no one hears anything by August or Sept then...well...either they went full bore on Anthem or they are working on DA4.

Usually by now there would be some sort of leak or indication. If no one hears anything by August or Sept then...well...either they went full bore on Anthem or they are working on DA4. There is no standard as each publisher has their own standards. With EA, they most likely had plans for a series of DLC and Bioware most likely was already working on the early stages of DLC. However, I imagine that the review scores (lowest for ANY Bioware game) as well as the critical reaction and the seemingly brash drop in sales the following weeks, EA most likely in late April or early May decided to not go forward with MEA DLC. We may still get a ME4 or a future ME game, but I doubt MEA will see any new content beyond patches and MP DLC. Sales are everything for EA and we dont know how it sold. However, we didnt know how well DAI sold and yet EA still mentioned that it was the fastest selling Bioware title. The fact that EA hasnt added in flair to the MEA sales or quantify it by saying something like, "MEA sales boosted our digital sales by X%" or something to that nature is very telling. They did say that the game got 80% or higher in 100 reviews but considering thar the game has an average review score in the low 70s (lowest for any Bioware game), that comment is more of a glass being half full. If MEA had 100 or so reviews that were in the 80s, it begs the question of how many ME3 and ME2 had.

Here's my narrative: No one knows actually knows how well/poorly Andromeda sold except for the suits at EA and Bioware, and no one knows if it matched projections except for the suits at EA and Bioware, and we can both look at the same numbers and come to vastly different conclusions. That's my narrative. Oh, also that I want a DLC. edited to add: Your narrative is that you didn't like Andromeda so you don't think it did well and you'll do whatever you can to prove to those of us who did enjoy it that we're wrong and that it really was a terrible, terrible game. I don't have a narrative, but you sure do. EA went all out with DAI in their first earnings call after launch by saying this: "Dragon Age: Inquisition captivated fans and critics worldwide as it launched in November, and it quickly became the most successful launch in BioWare history. More than 113 million hours have already been spent exploring the depth and detail of the single-player experience in Dragon Age: Inquisition, and more players are joining each day. Named “Game of the Year” by 32 media outlets around the world, including IGN, Game Informer and the Associated Press, Dragon Age: Inquisition is a true masterpiece from the team at BioWare and a game that is sure to be played for a long time to come." Why didn't EA go all out with MEA in the same way? I mean EA really baked the pie, then put some whipped cream and a cherry on top for DAI but did nothing of sorts for MEA....and MEA was the ONLY AAA game released that quarter. I wonder why... Because DA2 was not a success. Up to that point I think it was probably the most trashed game BW had in quite a while. Also, it was lining up to be GOTY, so going into great detail about it is savvy. You always go on and on about you big successes. That this doesn't occur to you is kind of sad. It's number one business practice. Never let them forget your big success (and most especially after any failures like DA2 which did not do well with fans or in reviews IIRC).

MEA falling down a list isn't surprising to me. Poor Quarians. They will never be saved Where did the supposed Quarian DLC come from? Is this just a fan request?

Im not sure if ME3 was the best selling ME game, but if true, wouldnt you expect each ME game to sell more than the previous? ME3 doubled ME2 first week sales, and was on track to outsell it since then, probably reaching 5 millions if not more. That's what the reports said. Can't say the same about MEA, unfortunately. It was never going to with all the preconceptions that it would fail. However it met its goal and then some.

Actually the GtaV seeling so well and andromeda not ,shows the mentlaity of gamers nowadays. Gamers want crappy games. Gamers have not played andromeda but buy anything on Hype. Andromeda had/has not hype. ALso ALL PAST GAMES HAD THE SAME sales curve. this is not something new
