August 21st is exactly 5 months after MEA launch which is when Bioware normally drops the first major SP DLC.

I doubt they'll announce DLC. They offered this second free trial for a reason, and that runs through Nov 1st. Whatever it is they're hoping to see, or whatever data they're collecting won't be done by Aug 21st.

I'm sure we'll probably see more Anthem though, maybe some word on Dragon Age.

That's the thing - this is me doing the best I can. There is so much disinformation out there regarding Andromeda from my perspective. I want them to hear loud and clear that they fucked up and that this lack of quality is not acceptable.

Thing is you haven't even played the game through, and certainly not in its current state.

however - The problem with suikoden is that he want us all to stand up against the developers and say "that they fucked up". Of course most of us are not going to say that, and certainly not because he wants that. Why should they?

And in frustration he spams the forum with thread after thread in an attempt convince us to say what he likes us to say. Needless to say he get's nowhere, and only irritates people with his constant bashing. But hey, if he has lots of fun doing so I should say "let him play". I have stopped taking him seriously a long time ago (although it can be fun to "pull his leg" now and then).

As well reason for no Anthem is due to EA wanting to focus on titles to be released this year.

So it doesn't make sense to reveal DA4 nor any other new IP, while EA will still reveal some surprise.

It doesn't mean it will be ME:A SP Story DLC reveal, but this is the best shot now.

I'd hope it's not Anthem cause there's no reason to hype it up so far from release only to have that hype die out before it launches. You play with fire doing that.

if anything bioware related is to be released I'd expect t something Andromeda related and maybe just a confirmation that DA4 is in the works but that's it. Everything else will be EAs other developers and their games like SWBFII or sports crap.

I know with BioWare they have the five month window for DLC, but I am wondering because of the patches they have done with Andromeda if those trends will be delayed, like with Mass Effect 3 and the extended cut delayed DLC for a couple of months as well since development focus was elsewhere.

Regarding DLC, one thing I don't get is why people assume if we don't get any this year, we'll never get any at all? BW went through a lot of complications this year, not just exclusive to MEA, so basing a DLC timeline on past games where they were on a proper schedule is only setting people up to be disappointed. DLC is gong to happen, but chances are it'll be next year. Anthem's team is not 100% MEA's team either, so that is no excuse and Anthem has been delayed until the Fall next year, so MEA DLC in the Spring would not hurt it. I would honestly rather wait until 2018 to get a decent DLC without tons of bugs and issues, then something rushed just to please people who were mostly spurred into action over an article with no credence whatsoever.
