It's a lie that was made up to get the bigots to hate on BioWare. That's how I see it and that's what I'm seeing. The authors have the right to do whatever they want. Sure, it will piss off fans, but that's life. If anything, BioWare welcomes everyone in... just give me more accents on Spanish and French and Irish accents. We've got the British and American covered.

I do think it'd be better, you'd see a lot less memes and people joking around with the technical issues and animations. However there are people (myself included) who actually didn't care much for the technical issues but had more of an issue towards the story, characters and gameplay. I'd honestly say if 1.9 was launch version I doubt the score would be much different, maybe a point better at best but the meat of the game is where many people had issues.

In short: I don't think it'd be getting made fun of as much and people would be more serious on digging into the story issues and such. There's not a lot of reviewers that doom a game just cause of it's bugs and technical issues, unless it's completely broken anyways. The technical issues will more or less be a hindrance but a small factor compared to the bulk of the game.

Dish Network and all that satellite stuff sucks... too slow. I tried it... it's slow. RoadRunner plus because I want it now. Hulu, AMC and freaking rabbit ears captures all the shows I want to see and the local stuff in HD. $95 a month for extended basic is money consumed in the mouths of executives at E! Bravo and Oxygen. No mas.

I'm not really fond of BioFan either, idk about a shill, but I think he's what I would consider a.....ugh I loathe using this word....."Biodrone" (I hate using the word because Smugboy abuses the fuck out of it). I think BioFan made a video that basically came across as "Nothing is wrong with andromeda." But yeah, people that combine SJW and Bioware together or anything similar, lose my respect. It's not about the different opinions, it's more that I'm just fed up with a lot of this anti-SJW bullshit.

Eh, I like his enthusiasm.

Not necessarily that invested in his opinion of the games so much, but he's thorough when it comes to collecting new info.

For me personally, the difference is not that great. I was fortunate, not to encounter too many bugs, the animation issues were only mildly annoying to me, the CC is not a feature I fret about and the gender-stuff they patched, I found more mildly amusing than anything else.

For me, the weaknesses of ME:A didn't lie in the patched stuff but rather in the premise and pacing of the story, the filler content and the character writing and some minor stuff like the disappointing music and squad control issues. Those didn't really change much, so I'll stick to my 7.5/10. It was and still is a decent game, that just unfortunately doesn't quite live up to the insanely high standards of the trilogy.

No. I think there is too much associated with the words "Mass Effect" to create a game that would not have been torn to pieces no matter what. I don't know where it goes from here, but it felt as if Andromeda took a decade of longing and pent up frustrations on the chin. Andromeda tells a story of humanity in more ways than one, and what have unfolded on the internet is an interesting addition to the game itself. Disturbing as well, but, well, that's humans for you. As someone who took a hiatus for a few years, I continue to be surprised by the negative capital accumulated through good work. That one step from love to hate is short indeed.

Yup. Between the lore problems, the meh story, the overly "streamlined" controls, etc, even without the graphics problems and bugs, MEA felt less like "Mass Effect" and more like "Cheap Knock-Off Mass Effect"
