The fuck is this mess???? No. Andromeda gets no points in this area. Lets have a little review, shall we? - Gay male romances are side characters with significantly less content, dialog, CC faces, etc.
- Vetra's writer had to fight for her to be bisexual.
- Excluding gay men from the main Squad was intentional.
- Jaal was only made bi after massive backlash.
- The two sidelined gay men don't acknowledge each others
existence if you cheat on them because promiscuous gay men
don't care about that kind of thing. - I could go on.
Andromeda and most of it's team deserve absolutely NO praise concerning it's gay relationships. Along with the above points was the psycho torture gay ME fans went through pre-release. Many here in the forums can concur. The handling of this issue was just corrosive and now we have to deal with this shit: articles popping up raining undeserved praise when objectively Andromeda is little better(I vote worse) than ME3 in terms LGB romance and only because WE(gay peeps) forced the issue. This entire event demonstrates a deplorable attitude within the MEA team that in the year 2819 a Blue Space Babe and a Purple Squid Cobra Cat Man can eye fuck each other throughout space adventures but the gay still has to be stuffed into a nice little box on the side.
