Bioware needs to stop being a-holes and release a re-imagined look for Cassandra Pentaghast so I can play Dragon Age Inquisition. Why couldn't they just make her super hot like a super model god damn it. I HATE SJWS SO MUCH. I did a very thorough and deep chantry loyalist play through in the first two games. I have to romance Cassandra Pentaghast, but her face looks like a man. It's all f'ed up. They should've at least made Cassandra a lesbian with that ultra mannish lesbian face, then I would've just rolled a hot blonde lesbian character. She would be the lesbian man in the relationship and my female lesbian would be the lipstick. The "not sure if serious " meme is played, right? |

I actually agree with this, and it should be the same in all BioWare titles, with this disclaimer: In Dragon Age, homosexuality is not an issue except all of a sudden in Tevinter. I think the lore supports that, but I stopped caring a while ago. In Mass Effect, we are obviously in the future, exposed to all sorts of different things and hopefully evolved somewhat past the particular fixation and fear people of our time regard sexuality. Ergo, in either universe, who is fucking who and why shouldn't matter to anyone except the fuckers. This is the main reason why their hamfistery with Hainly was so poorly received - it is anachronistic and entirely out of place. You cannot fix today's problems with a video game. You can make games that help build tomorrow's world where we transcend this stupidity. |

I don't know. perhaps, if the romances were trimmed down in number and increased in plot involvement and content saturation, I'd have preferred different characters. I mostly respond to the sense of adventure, thrill, soul-mate vibe and dialogue. It's hard for me to predict what char I am going to end up liking in each game, so I have a hard time coping with many if's. |
