For most of us it was fine day one so yup. I disagree with the *For most of us* part considering the polish of Day 1 Andromeda was almost universally panned by critics and fans alike but will say had it been released after all the patching it would have faired a lot better. I've yet to come across any of the bugs that cost me over 10 hours worth of game play from the day 1 release. I literally had a bug with a dead companion that corrupted a hard save and 6 auto saves. I didn't say pre patch was perfect but I completed my run from day 1 to patch 1.03. A few bugs nothing major. Sure some encounter game breaking or quest breaking bugs but nothing that a save revert or wait till quest is fixed wouldn't fix. All the issues were way overblown by some. Oh the critics were never going to give it high marks regardless.

Personally, I never experienced any game-breaking bugs or serious issues with the Day 1 release of MEA. The only issue I ever had was not being able to complete that Nomad shield quest, which was bugged for everybody to my knowledge. Beyond that, the only other rare issue I saw was enemies clipping in terrain. That was it in terms of bugs and glitches, however. I didn't have any issues and I completed the game on Insanity in its entirety.
I'm planning on doing another completionist run, but after the 4K HDR G-sync monitors are released. I was only able to play MEA before on medium settings with good performance, so I'll go through it again on max settings with HDR when I have the new Asus or Acer monitor.

Me and 4 friends played it side by side on Teamspeak and experienced the same bugs other than my save crippling one from my companion dying. There's a reddit write up on it explaining how to try and fix it when it happens. We all played on insanity also.

What Squad banter? Heard it all already. Sorry should have mentioned that I spent ten hours per planet in nomad previously. After the initial the Iron Man mod does make a positive. As have I. Doesn't mean I don't like to hear it. Guess that can be true of certain dialog.... Unless like me you have Audio Graphic/Audio Hyperthymesia or maybe some unknown form of synesthesia. Then it can be annoying after the first few times. The critics would have had it a better fit/finish to it. They didn't have any problems giving ME1, ME2, ME3, DAO, DA2 and DAI good to great reviews so this isn't some type of hater crap people like to perpetrate here on the forums. So anybody that has a critical valid opinion different from yours of ME:A is automatically labelled a hater, Got it. You really need to get out there and become a critic for Bioware. They would love that 10/10 rating...

has the quality of the game improved enough to warrant a second run through? For most of us it was fine day one so yup. Who exactly counts as "us"? The dwindling number of BSNers or the ME fanbase at large?

I said ME3 not ME:A were where critics really rebelled. Granted ME3 scarred a lot of people emotionally. An emotional investment that left some festering to see what would next come out. An investment that left many with resentment that would not let go of and then they took their frustrations out on ME:A. As to Angry Joe he got angry at the ME3 ending but relented at the extended cut -thus the dual redaction . Was ME3 perfect -no. Was ME:A perfect -no. Could both be improved -yes. Have they been? Well that last one is a matter of perspective. In the end all that matters is that you enjoy what you play and if you don't then avoid. I will never understand why people get so emotionally involved in games it makes no sense:huh: -it is not reality it is just a game for crying out loud .

He looks at it as everyone who is critical of ME:A is basically a hater. The same way how a lot a people on this forum look at others that are critical of ME:A. I get it, some hate for the sake of hating. Not me Well issues are different everyone. It may not be so much that the troubles that would effect someone on day 1 would affect others on day one or vice versa the same way. I personally have no issues with day one -since I didn't get to even run day one one: bsn.boards.net/thread/7265/me-endless-install-loopI am not hating or being a hater on that. Though that issue annoyed me it does not mean that I hate the game. Just because these non-issues or issues be debating does not mean that one should claim that it is hate or being a hater. There are different levels of hate to everything so just to say someone is hating or being a hater without a level of reference to what degree makes such arguments invalidated. Maybe it is aggravation or irritation at the the game or not -I doubt everyone is Hitler level hate on Mass Effect Andromeda.

I personally like ME:A. I was able to move past most issues and still be able to enjoy the game. My problem is with the white knight and how every problem with the game (day 1 for me) is a non issue. No emotions necessary.
