Probably in a few years. My guess we could see a Orignal trilogy remaster 3-5 years from now,to try and judge fan interest still in the franchise. If it sells well, they probably make a new ME game. Any way it goes, I doubt we see a remaster anytime soon.

Sorry - I have played the OT too much, and frankly cannot play it again for a long, long, long time - If ever. I have "overeaten" myself on it. Simple and plain. That's the reason I liked Andromeda and had high hopes for it.
I would not buy a remaster of the OT. I simply feel no urge at all to play the same old rusty storyline, I already played countless and countless times, again. I need something new. New horizons, new stories, new challenges, a fresh new universe. And a remaster is exactly the opposite of that.
So - No. Not interested. Not going to buy.

(sigh) people really can't move on or what? I am so not on board with remakes and remastered of perfectly good old movies and games. I own them, I've played it. I want new things, new adventures, new characters. I am too young to be stuck in the past. The only title at all that I would buy remastered is Jade Empire, because it was missed by so many players and b/c the graphics are dated, and even then, I'd rather have another game set in the setting and setting expanded. Remasters aren't necessarily because people are stuck in the past. Most tend to happen 10 years+ after the originals. It's quick easy money for the most part for the developers and it's a way for newer fans to try the originals if they're newcomers, plus we've exceeded multiple console generations by that point where playing something so old can feel fresh again(especially if you haven't played it for 10 years), games aren't made like they used to be. It's why FF7 has a lot of hype, MCC was hyped but ultimately bombed because *broken* and the newer resident evil games are garbage compared to the older ones. I guess you could say some could be stuck in the past, but I wouldn't blame them if the past is better than the present. I still share the mindset that I'd rather progress into the newer games, but you'd see me also be in the camp that newer games tend to be bad in general. Maybe it makes sense for consoles, but I am a PC gamer, so can't really relate to this.
I came back to playing SP games in 2016 after about 9 years away (last SP game I've played was KOTOR2 in 2007), and I've played the entire ME Trilogy for the first time in late 2016. It held up just fine for this "new" fan. So did DAO.
I am no spring chicken, being of an age that is the answer to everything, but only once I have experienced the syndrome of the "games used to be better before!" and that's when BioWARE released NWN1. Since then, every newer game appeared to be an improvement on the previous one.
With Mass Effect series I certainly like ME2/3 > ME1, and Andromeda is my favorite among the four. The Inquisition is inverse for me, since I do like DA2 waaaay more, but well, I still don't want to go back in time & look towards DA4 instead to fix what Inquisition so badly broke for me.
As far as I am concerned, the 2010+ crop of the BioWARE games I harvested in 2016-2017 are way better than the generation of the late 90's-early 2000's, Baldur's Gates, IWD and KOTOR. And ye gods, NWN1... the worst game ever in my experience.
KOTOR2, SWTOR and JE will always stand alone for me, because they are very different from anything else, and I have never played a vanilla version of KOTOR2, only the heavily modded one with RC.

I've said before for the consoles I'd like it, but pragmatically, if they scrapped even a token dlc for a game that made, by all accounts decent money, it's unlikely enough they would do it that I couldn't justify even pushing for it.

I would buy a ME1 remake. I'm not sure I want a remaster because really the game is quite aged and even a substantial graphical overhaul wouldn't improve some old mechanics that the game had. They can surely use the MW assets from MEA to recreate that. I would be for it.
ME2 and ME3 are not that old to justify a remake or even a remaster.

I'd buy a remastered trilogy at $20, even $30, as long as it included all DLCs. I don't think I'd pay more.

Yes to a remaster, but only if they make it a free upgrade to current owners of the games. Which EA almost certainly won't do.

I think the only one they really need to remaster would be ME1. Remaster it with ME3's resources.....BAM! = Bank. Nah. I think the only thing that needs reworking in ME1 is the inventory system. I think we can all agree it's not the best. Combat is fine in ME1. I'd put omni-gel back in the mix to some extent. The Hammerhead was also capable of taking damage so there's no reason not to have some on hand to fix things. The mini-game locks are fine so long as they're more like what we had in ME3. Why? Nothing pissed me off so much as attempting to hack a lock, getting shot by some stupid mech I didn't realize was around, and then being unable to loot some crate.

I definitely wouldn't mind a MET remaster done in Frostbite and properly scaled for high-end PCs. I just wouldn't pre-order or buy on launch day. You clearly don't mod. People who play games with mods have very little interest in Frostbite. It's not modder friendly. The ability to romance Kaidan in ME1 and wear something other than Cerberus clothes in ME2 are among the more priceless things I've got out of mods. Then things like MEHEM or the Anderson Extended Conversation - really love them and would hate to lose it because Frostbite isn't mod friendly. If the entire game was streamlined to be like ME3, it would be just fine.

No, a simple internet search will tell you that. And everyone knows a remaster would be better received than the sequel to the mess that was MEA. That's the consensus. You don't need to be that smart to know that. Though, you can't expect anything logical from the same people who thought a credible journalist was somehow trying to attack BioWare.

I'll be honest and say that I don't have any interest in purchasing a remastered trilogy except for perhaps the first game. I'll have to vote no.

You think the die-hard fans of these games made up 90% of the game's sales? Get out of your delusional bubble. I'm sure there's lots of excitement for a new MEA game, that's why it got canned in the first place. You have no idea of what you're saying.

No. I could see them doing it so console players could platy it, but I wouldnt bother. I dont think it would add much for people who have played the trilogy multiple times already.

Honestly if Anthem hits it out the park I wouldn't expect a Mass Effect game for a LONG time. With them only having 2 teams now and Dragon Age doing being a lot better received than Mass Effect, I just don't see them returning to it any time soon.
