Pillars of Eternity (Original game & PoE 2: Deadfire)

You can definitely claim it already - I've already got my copy unlocked on Steam and ready to install. Go log into your backer portal account and unlock it now if you like! (I mean, you can't do anything with the game until April 3rd, but you might as well.)

Can't download it yet, but I'm ready to go!

#2 actually looks good. Plus points to allowing players to name the ship. As to the islands. Well, I guess they aren't in the lore. +100 to VA. Anyway, fun. Will probably get it.

You're correct the Deadfire Archipelago is in lore. Hell it's even a background choice in PoE so not sure what Obsidian Gryphon is on about.

Not sure if it's really her voicing the sword, but Verse was voiced by Allegra Clark, who also did Nakmor Kesh and Josephine Montilyet. Doesn't sound much like her to me, but then again I wouldn't have believed that Verse and Josephine have the same VA, so there is that.

Game music has no identifying mark; a particular outstanding theme. There seems to be a few bars that sounds like LOTR before it meanders off into something else.

From what I understand. single class=access to powerful top tier abilities.

Multiclass=larger number of lower-tier powers.

Yep. The top tier abilities in every class definitely read worlds away from the lower tier. And may I say my eyes went OO at the variety?   Stuck for choice! I wouldn't see any of the top tier in practical use though since the streamer went multi. 

Regards the three minute jaunt; ToN is still the worse.   

VA is good, graphics is good.

The ability to dictate speed of combat is a plus; there is still the pause but now you can see the action much better (slow mo ). You can also position party members any way you like ( custom formation) so you can now decide who will stand where.

Difficulty; Easy, Normal, Expert and Ironman. Multi-class is looking pretty powerful right now.  So many choices for companion in behaviour editor I'm going x-eye.   Regards the ship, player has to make sure crew is sound, provisions plenty, good sails and armaments good; different types of cannons.

It's also mentioned that the devs felt some parts are too easy but they didn't have time to make adjustments since they were focusing on the bugs.
