How can people be this happy about things?
Take me, for example. I was angry for a short while, then went straight back to reload drills.
Found out I need a new secondary mag pouch. And just MAYBE a new primary charging handle. ...and a plate carrier, don't tell anyone that.

Prove it. Otherwise, shut the fuck up. Provide an actual rebuttal or {redacted} Thank you. I'm not the one claiming to know the sales figures, therfore, proof is required on his end, not mine.

I'd be more confidant in this topic's thesis if the source wasn't a fansite. Kinda hard to have credibility when you aren't providing a trustworthy resource.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.
I don't think you're giving a bad mag pouch the attention it deserves.

The fansite in question is paraphrasing/referencing an interview with Laura Miele, the executive vice president of global publishing at EA, which they provided a link to. They then extrapolated what she said in the interview and applied it to the situation at ME:A It's a hypothesis based on what was said at an interview by a company exec, and it doesn't seem to be an overly wild hypothesis *shrugs*

Serzamy favorite bourbon is Angel's Envy. But there is a strong argument against it not actually being bourbon because of it being put into a wine cask to add sweetness. I was wondering your opinion on that. And pouches.

I was wondering your opinion on that. And pouches. Can't go bad with sweetness is my opinion. I personally truly like eggnog because of the added taste, with the alcohol burn being an aftereffect. Many might not consider it true alcoholic beverage, but I do enjoy the taste of it coupled with the afterburn of alcohol. Did you know that many 30Rnd mag pouches (be it the western 5.56x45mm STANAG, or both 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 AK magazines) actually fit a beer bottle and possibly even smaller bottles of different alcohol? However for the common bottle of Slivovica, you need a larger pouch, which usually means it is carried in your backpack.

There is sweetness and then there is being thin melted ice cream. So, I have this problem of not quite knowing what you're talking about. Are these pouches things that hold bullets? And if so, how do we get these things IN to a beer bottle? Sounds like you could conceal an arsenal inside an innocent looking 6 pack.

Ah. I'll have to explain closer before I go to sleep (it's far too early for me to be up, once again!). A pouch would be something you carry your magazines in when you're not using them. To illustrate, pictured below is a STANAG (STANdardization AGreement) magazine for the 5.56x45mm NATO round. These will hold 30 rounds of 5.56mm each. They fit into pouches, sometimes single, sometimes you can find a double pouch. I have seen pouches designed for three magazines of either 7.62x39 or 5.45x39. There are actually different pouches for the Sa vz. 58 and the AKM, due to the large difference in magazine shape, too! An example of a mag pouch, this one seems like it might be a double pouch: Of course, this is a rifle magazine pouch, not a pistol pouch. I'm afraid you couldn't have any alcohol in a pistol magazine pouch, or even 12Ga shotgun rounds pouch. You then put the beer bottles INSIDE the pouches, where the magazines would be. So a magazine holds bullets, a pouch holds magazines. Or beer bottles... As a disclaimer, I must add: Always drink responsibly and try to avoid using your pouches with magazines after you use your pouches with beer!

Ryder armor was clunky enough, maybe there was some on them.

If it's for home protection, I've heard shotguns with a wide spray are much better for high stress, low experience shooting in home invasion situations. I also heard this spray gets stopped by any object pretty good, so your kid in the room next door is unlikely to die from a stray bullet.

I also heard this spray gets stopped by any object pretty good, so your kid in the room next door is unlikely to die from a stray bullet. I more want to use a pistol for target shooting, but yeah, if I need a gun for home protection I got for a shotgun, I did see a Mossberg 500 that could swap between a 18.5" barrel for security and a 28" barrel for target shooting. (I could also get a Remington 870, I mean those things have been around for quite a while.) THIS IS A FIREARMS THREAD NOW.

Ugh, a katana. Basically a short, heavy, poorly balanced 2 handed sword that's easily damaged and ill designed to deal with armour. Give me a European blade any day

Unless properly trained, you're more likely to cut your own arm off with that thing. I find having dogs keeps any would-be thiefs from entering my house. Cameras don't hurt either.
