This gun is awesome though. (From a mechanical standpoint) Would NOT want to clean it though. (It's really fricking complicated.) Who's got time to read when there are complicated guns to clean.

I used a lot of Vietnam-era M-16's during training as well - was not impressed. Later versions fixed the problems, for the most part.

Lol) EDIT: The L85a1 was much worse though, you'd have to look at the wikipedia page to look at the amount of problems that thing had.

If I were to pick an assault rifle, I'd be VERY tempted to go with an AK-47 due to it's legendary reliability. The newest derivative is beautiful looking. What sucks though is that Kalashnikov is dead.

Damn this place is getting nasty. I am surprised that an insult like "you are a terrible scum of a human being" is allowed in here. I know people are annoyed and antsy over Andromeda, but still... damn, perspective please, people, no need to throw insults like that over what ultimately is just a video game... I think, yeah?

Hmmm.....so I guess the game didn't survive the initial hiccups and backlash afterwards...I guess the obscure silence and all of this speaking in codes..."Are people still working at Montreal/Edmonton?...."yep"..etc...stringing the fans along, but to be fair, I guess it's possible they (Bioware/devs) didn't know what EA was going to decide......I think it is true that if the game released in the state it's in now, it could have survived and incorporated a DLC, but the game was criticized for it's characters and storyline by respected review sites separate from the animation and technical glitches......two things that Bioware are strongly known for and the game was lacking on both fronts.
Anthem looks good, but i'm not really looking forward to it in the way I would of another Mass Effect game and being that Anthem's story is going to take a backseat in favor of multiplayer gameplay type themes, i'm not really excited for Anthem in the way I would be for another Mass Effect game, because I already know what Anthem is going to be.
Blame is all on EA for releasing a game that was not ready and Bioware because of the mis-management the game went through during it's production which lead to game that was lacking in story and implemented a cast of boring characters......repeating myself, but eh, I still thought the game would get DLC and again, art direction and overall design are stunning in this game.

Yes, DA2 had a bad reception outside of the media which rated the game favorably. It was the 1st Bioware game that was blamed for pushing a SJW agenda and was bashed for being to simplistic, repeat locations, and non-epic story and many other stuff. Difference is, DA2 criticism was limited to the official forums and other message boards whereas MEA got memes, gifs, and youtube videos. The non-epic story complaint was always funny, because BioWare was also criticized at the same time for going with the same old epic formula. Look at people who wanted to play some rando pirate in a Mass Effect game. Then if they got what they wanted, other people would piss and moan that this person's a perpetual nobody compared to Shepard. As for the SJW agenda thing, I'm not sure those folks were ever worth taking seriously. this is why it's called idiotnet man.

As for the SJW agenda thing, I'm not sure those folks were ever worth taking seriously. I'm pretty certain I read developers at Bioware say they decided themselves to do something different for DA:2 and break the mould. It stands to reason because even if Bioware were getting complaints regarding epic stories, it wasn't many. Nowhere near enough to change a tried and true formula for, anyway. EDIT: Are you confusing the criticism of "predictable hero journey" with "same old epic formula"? Cause they're two different things. Origins was criticised for being a predictable heroic story, but I've very rarely heard them criticised for being too epic xD

I'd be more confidant in this topic's thesis if the source wasn't a fansite. Kinda hard to have credibility when you aren't providing a trustworthy resource. ...it's quoting the EA VP. You'd know that if you read any of it. No, it's quoting a VP, of which EA seems to have 50,000 or so, but to be specific she's the Executive Vice President of publishing. She was also talking about Battlefield in that interview. But, regardless, the point was that the link you gave is to a fan site, which lists it's primary source as another fan site, with the original article that it also links to providing absolutely no reference to when, where, or how their interview occurred. But, hey, you read the links so you knew all that, amirite?

Ah. I'll have to explain closer before I go to sleep (it's far too early for me to be up, once again!). A pouch would be something you carry your magazines in when you're not using them. To illustrate, pictured below is a STANAG (STANdardization AGreement) magazine for the 5.56x45mm NATO round. These will hold 30 rounds of 5.56mm each. They fit into pouches, sometimes single, sometimes you can find a double pouch. I have seen pouches designed for three magazines of either 7.62x39 or 5.45x39. There are actually different pouches for the Sa vz. 58 and the AKM, due to the large difference in magazine shape, too! An example of a mag pouch, this one seems like it might be a double pouch: Of course, this is a rifle magazine pouch, not a pistol pouch. I'm afraid you couldn't have any alcohol in a pistol magazine pouch, or even 12Ga shotgun rounds pouch. You then put the beer bottles INSIDE the pouches, where the magazines would be. So a magazine holds bullets, a pouch holds magazines. Or beer bottles... As a disclaimer, I must add: Always drink responsibly and try to avoid using your pouches with magazines after you use your pouches with beer! Speaking of firearms, in a year I kinda want to buy a pistol, but I'm unsure whether I should buy a Lionheart LH9 MKii (Updated Daewoo K5) Or a Sig Sauer P320. I'll refrain from all the P320 memes that seem to be going around I kind of like 1911s. Sure, Glocks are the modern thing, but it would feel iffy to carry with a round chambered and no thumb safety. And I HATE long (Double action) triggers with a passion. The 1911 is a single action and the trigger is said to behave accordingly, with a very short pull. This is the reason I wouldn't go with a CZ75, as common as they are here. You have to pull the trigger for about half a mile before it goes off! So from the well-known guns, the 1911 actually seems to fit what I like the most, though I have heard a lot of good about the Rex Zero. Should take a look at that I guess. Oh well. I need to save up only a considerable amount for the license alone! Ah. I'll have to explain closer before I go to sleep (it's far too early for me to be up, once again!). As a disclaimer, I must add: Always drink responsibly and try to avoid using your pouches with magazines after you use your pouches with beer! Huh. Never saw mag pouches on Shepard. Ryder armor was clunky enough, maybe there was some on them. Ryder has more pouches that can be used for storing equipment, but in ME2 you could actually get pieces that looked like the N7 armor with pouches on it. I liked that and used it near exclusively. Speaking of firearms, in a year I kinda want to buy a pistol, but I'm unsure whether I should buy a Lionheart LH9 MKii (Updated Daewoo K5) Or a Sig Sauer P320. If it's for home protection, I've heard shotguns with a wide spray are much better for high stress, low experience shooting in home invasion situations. I also heard this spray gets stopped by any object pretty good, so your kid in the room next door is unlikely to die from a stray bullet. Well, that applies in the US where the walls aren't as strong. In Europe, the buildings have sturdier inside walls, resulting in you needing a much more powerful round to penetrate the wall. You should be perfectly fine with a 9mm in Europe. In fact, the .45 is said to be (may not be accurate with modern 9mm Luger ammo) more effective on target and being subsonic should be worse in penetrating objects. You should always consider a balance, however, in case the thief hides right behind a door intending to force you into close quarters. In that case, simply penetrating the door to get to the thief on the other side would be preferable. Not to mention surprising, and I LOVE surprises! Can't go bad with sweetness is my opinion. I personally truly like eggnog because of the added taste, with the alcohol burn being an aftereffect. Many might not consider it true alcoholic beverage, but I do enjoy the taste of it coupled with the afterburn of alcohol. Best Holiday drinks!!!! May not fit in a pouch. Need a flask. As a matter of fact, you can use a canteen to transport eggnog in combat conditions. As an added bonus, most fit either on MOLLE (somehow, probably by field rigging) or your belt (should work normally, unless you have a warbelt with MOLLE and shitton of kit on it) This gun is awesome though. (From a mechanical standpoint) Would NOT want to clean it though. (It's really fricking complicated.) The AN-94 is certainly interesting. The stock/grip placement is rather unconventional to me (the grip reaches into under the stock, as opposed to the traditional completely under the body position). What is also interesting is the recoil system, and the two-round burst mode that's meant to put the second round down range before any recoil can be perceived (and thus the muzzle can climb). Who's got time to read when there are complicated guns to clean. NYET! DA! URA! ZA RODINU, V ATAKU! This was probably harder to clean, but man was it fun to use. It seems some of guns used in Vietnam weren't exactly reliable. (Glares angrily at the original M16) It didn't help that the XM16E1 was intended as a self-cleaning rifle, while actually being one of the most demanding rifles of it's time. I just went from page 1 to page 7 (skipped the rest) and am now confused why we're talking about guns...ironically, it looks like talking about guns is LESS violent than talking about Andromeda itself... Edit: Changed word Well, it's because... (sorry...)

ao you find delight in denying other having fun. good for you. you must be fun at parties. #partypooper Someone else's opinion on an online forum shouldn't deny you from enjoying something. That's just sad. Well, it's possible that some people get enjoyment out of games based on talking about the games they enjoy in online communities. They enjoy discussing lore and theories and talking about what they enjoyed the game, and so when they attempt that on a fan forum but get people constantly posting that the game is bad, dead, etc, it detract from that part of their enjoyment of the game. It's perfectly reasonable for someone to enjoy games for the community. And a "poisoning" of that community then lessening their enjoyment of the game, because that's part of what they look for in their game enjoyment. Just a thought.

I think it just proves BioWare's fanbase is filled with triggered snowflakes after all.

Plus he has a childlike reverence for meme trolling, threats and clickbait videos based at best on speculation, so there you go.
