I'm curious about which loose threads you'd prefer to see ignored. Do you want them to gloss over the intensifying war with the kett and the exaltation of Heleus? Do you want the jardaan storyline further explored, or no? How do you see the problem of the Scourge being resolved? A 50 year jump implies that you'd want all of this resolved off-screen. I assume, since you're not a fan of Ryder, that you don't care to see whether Ellen Ryder awakens or not. What about learning more of the benefactor, Jien Garson's murder and the implications for the Initiative? I take it that none of this intrerests you much? If we were to get a different protagonist, I'd like it to see SAM removed from the equation or pushed into the background. The AI was far too important and talkative in this story. I'd prefer such things be tools, not central characters. I do love the versatility of the classless system, and would like to see that continue. There is really no reason it has to be tied to an AI. That was certainly one way to handle things, but it could be addressed in others. Actually, the jardaan, Jien Garsons murder, and the benefactors identity were some of the most interesting plot points for me. I don't think figuring out the secrets of the jardaan needs a direct sequel, same with the Scourge. Indeed, Jien Garsons murder and the benefactor mystery probably do, but I'd have liked that to be loosely tied up in a dlc rather than spend an entire game on it. And as for conflict with the Kett, we could still have that a few decades on - the Angara had been fighting them for centuries if I remember correctly. I mean, in all honesty I wouldn't mind either way, be it a direct sequel or not. I enjoyed Andromeda a lot, and will probably pick it up again soon enough. About Ryder, I guess I've gotten used to the idea of a new protagonist each game because I've mostly been playing Dragon Age these past few years. It makes me sad that I haven't managed to make a character that I really connected with, though. Maybe I should try a male Ryder next time around. And I agree about the SAM. However if we do get a continuation of Ryder's story, perhaps we'll see them become more self-reliant in the long run, the beginnings of which we kind of saw at the end of the game already.

I'd like them to go back to the idea of a game about the Contact War. The First Contact War basically would only work as a backdrop to some other story. The conflict in and of itself ends in a peace negotiation before the real war actually began. And it wouldn't really work from a human perspective either.

Andromeda 2 should pit you as the Quarian pathfinder, and start where andromeda 1 left off. Hmmm interesting. Could work as long as there was also interaction with the Ryder's and rest of the cast.

A game set in Andromeda galaxy, either continuing Ryders' story or new protagonist. I am really interested in Jardaan and colonial setting, so... that's my pick. I do love Male Ryder voicing and personality though, so the new char better be awesome.

Continue with Ryder again, where MEA left off. Answer all the questions left open in the first game. Allow the Ryder sibling to be a teammate.

Let's make 2 Mass Effect games at the same time 1., that ignores ME3 ending and Andromeda in its entierity 2., a sequel to Andromeda with Ryder I would like to experience both because Mass Effect is huge and there are many options to go forth with the franchise.

I strongly prefer Scott to Sara. Tom delivered their shared lines in a way I like much more. The cheesy stuff he delivered wryly, instead of enthusiastically as Fryda did. Scott also has superior writing in many places. Scott just comes across as much more professional and in command. Sara has way too much cheese and goofiness for my tastes.

I chose sequel to ME3. I won't get into details since there's a thread about that.
I would also like to see a sequel to MEA. Mostly to know about Garson and the benefactor. I also believe the Kett are the biggest threat at the moment even though they didn't get Meridian. I would be curious what they will do. I would have them attack and destroy the Nexus. I would even make that as an opening sequence for the sequel.
The other is mother Ryder. Will a cure be found? If so, what answer will her kids give when asked if they had a funeral for her back on Earth? I'm sure both would suffer from cat-got-your-tongue not knowing what to say. Both were surprised that mom was on the Hyperion. Did dad have a fake funeral? Had an urn full of ashes letting everyone think it was mom and spread them over whatever area? Is there a tombstone with her name on it with an empty casket buried in the ground?
How about having the sequel take place 100 years in the future? Mother Ryder is cured after her kids have been dead for a time. I doubt Bioware would do that, but......hahaha.

Definitely a sequel with Ryder since his/her story is far from being done And think about certain stories that need to be resolved.

Set it no more than five years in the future. We an older, more confident Ryder.
Have SAM somehow gimped and/or disabled as an essential part of the story. Of course, have us find out what happened to the Quarian ark. Tie up some of those other loose ends and give us another new species as humanity makes it's first foray beyond the Heleus cluster.

Andromeda 2 should pit you as the Quarian pathfinder, and start where andromeda 1 left off. Hmmm interesting. Could work as long as there was also interaction with the Ryder's and rest of the cast. What about this? You could play through the campaign as either Sara or Scott Ryder, each with their own different storyline, one you beat the game with both of them, you can play as the Quarian pathfinder who'd have his own storyline and a new cast of squadmates. (All of these storylines intersect at one point or another) Seriously this shit would have a fuckload of replay value.

Sorta sequel to ME:A but totally difrerent game, ME:A, for me, did one thing, its gave us a toe in the Andromeda Galaxy, a base to build upon, if they revisit the ME universe i'd love for them to build upon that with a Destiny type game, which i doubt cause Anthem, burt i can only hope
ME:Online for me would be a dream tbh, solo or co-op lvling\unlocking areas\planets, 4 player grp content maybe expanding to 8 all in ME:A combat, i dont play BioWare games predominantly for companions i only take a interest if they , in my opinion, contribute to the story an so far only Morrigan n Alaister in DA:O have really done that.
If Anthem a resounding success an brings in new blood hungry for more of that i pray they take the ME universe there

(All of these storylines intersect at one point or another) Seriously this shit would have a fuckload of replay value. That's a nice idea in theory, in practice it would end up being just 3 parts of full storyline. So if someone was interested in playing just let's say Sara, they would've bought pretty much one third of a full game. You could probably do it in a way where all 3 of them are in the same squad and you would be able to do all 3 stories in single playthrough and different storyline would be treated as primary one based on which protagonist you're playing, while the other 2 would be treated along the lines of companion quests that are woven through the whole game narrative. It would still probably work better if there was some other, true main plot that would be there for all 3 of them and their own personal plots would stem from that. Anyway, I'm not really on board with the idea of different protagonists with different stories, there is something about making protagonist your own that would be lost were you to do story with split focus.
