Difference is, Charr was a rarity and still had that krogan grit and slight brutishness AND went to war when the time came in ME3. Vorn is the polar opposite of what it is to be krogan, much like most other other ones in MEA. We literally only meet 2 that are like that. We? YOU do. I prefer my krogan to have a quad. And now, our quoting marathon has ended.

I'm not a fan of totally monolithic depictions of intelligent species in fiction. It's like humans are the only ones that get to have some sort of monopoly on the broad personality spectrum. Humans and the Angarra but then that makes the Angarrra bad because they then become 'too human.'

Eh that too human thing was always kinda stupid, since the general identities of each race is basically just a facet of humanity anyway. Shit, the turians were basically bits of the Roman empire with spiky crab people. If they really tried to make every race as alien as they could make them, it'd be an incoherent shitshow.

I just hope Andromeda galaxy doesn't return. So much shitty content they would have to really twist the plot to provide something interesting (and completely forget the uninteresting angara and kett). I have to disagree. I enjoy ME:A SaveYeah, you and a few people with bad taste. Bioware shouldn't listen to you.

Just to be clear... the problem with ME:A krogan is that not all the members are enough of a cliche? It's a viable position -- arguably the MEU has always run on Planet of Hats, and that's how the series should have kept going. We could spend years debating which features of ME are actually features, and which are just bugs.

Shit, the turians were basically bits of the Roman empire with spiky crab people. They lampshaded it with turian names. At least when the same thing happened in Freespace, it was the Vasudans themselves deliberately picking Egyptian names because that culture was the most Vasudan-congruent of historical Earth cultures.

This video will examine word from EA and BioWare on the continuation of the Mass Effect franchise after the conclusion of Mass Effect: Andromeda support, content, and patching, as well as how Andromeda's unfinished quarian ark plot will receive closure.
What direction would you like to see EA/BioWare go with the franchise in the future?
Me personally I want BioWare to put the franchise on hold, because they did enough damage to the franchise after Andromeda was released, and there's no point of looking forward to the sequel if they keep messing it up. They should get their team together, put their bullshit aside, work together and most important of all listen to fans and critics to not make the same mistakes. But from the looks of it they rather learn the hard way than doing it the right way. But I'll wait and see.

I share your hope BioFan but the truth is that the Mass Effect franchise is most likely doomed. ME3 ending was too controversial, and MEA's release was marred by anti-SJW entitled whiny bullshit.

BioWare is screwed. I'm beginning to believe that there is no hope. It may just be me, but I see an animator leaving as an equivalent to a water boy leaving for a football team. That's how much (or how little) I think of animators for video games. If this were a lead writer, a director, etc etc I'd be a bit more worried in Anthems case but animator? Nah.

I think a lead animator is a bit more important than that, but ultimately I agree. You can find more animators. I would be more concerned if it was a designer or someone on the creative side.

Obviously you didn't catch wind one of the lead developers were leaving during the development of Andromeda, which it leads me to believe that they have conflicts within their team. And Andromeda ended up a disaster as the end result. If they have people leaving the company the games would come out worse than before.

I full well know of andromeda and montreals internal conflicts but the thing is that was Andromeda and Montreal, not Anthem and Edmonton. My point however was I'd be more worried if it were writers and directors leaving as an animator is easy to find, especially since Bioware has never had good animations to their games to start off with.

SP is out and all games are streamlined for MP fodder. If and I stress if any pushback follows it won't be from the American continent. So no, very much doom and gloom for a next ME SP sequel. I am not expecting it. Distinct variations in games are fading and are becoming an online fest for everyone with some story, loveplay and gameplay styles mashed up in one big online fest. Diversity out, streamlining in and the excuse; all that diversity = to costly.
To a degree, the indie games will uphold the diversity status but not holding my breath even they will hold out.
Like the movies are marvelised so will big game companies do with gaming.
Maybe one more DA SP, but even that has to be seen!

This is BioWare's problem because of their name brand is on their games, and therefore they are responsible for the problems of that game. Which means people don't want to deal with BioWare anymore, so they rather go to someone else who will make better games. They should be no excuses for poor animations, poor gameplay, and inconsistent writing.

Didn't have time to swing by the forum on N7-day but I was thinking about it.
Wish we could have something more. I know that I am only interested in singleplayer games, I am done with multiplayer. Well, I am sure I will find something to spend my time on but I wish it could have been dlc for Andromeda.
I waited with starting the second PT because I thought that there would be dlc right up until the end. Then I was too start to really start again. Think winter-vacation will be ok, then it has been a good long time and I can just enjoy the game and the story. I had a really good time in Andromeda, looking forward to seeing my crew again.
I don't dare to hope for more games in Mass Effect right now but I will always have the ones that are out now. I really enjoy the Mass Effect Archives so looking forward to plugging in stats the next time I start a new PT.
