I want the setting of the original trilogy, but with new characters and a new story. I also don't want the Reapers there since they've been done, or some of the more ridiculous elements of ME3's potential endings like synthesis and control. Other than an AU spinoff I can't see that happening.

I wouldn't have minded an Andromeda sequel, but after they abandoned the game and cancelled the DLC that would have introduced several of my old favourite species I just don't have the interest any more.

Yeah....it's hard to see where they go from here since Andromeda was supposed to be the reboot for the series....a new beginning and chapter for the franchise. But what happens when your reboot fails and nosedives into the abyss?

You really can't forget that Andromeda never happened and Andromeda failed so poorly that even if Bioware tried to make an Andromeda sequel, anything associated with "Andromeda" at least at this stage would probably be considered toxic or poison.

The only way they might be able to garner an Andromeda sequel is if it's marketed in a way that states the original team/creators are involved in it and even then it might a stretch since Bioware is a shell of what it used to be since so many of the original team members have left and gone off to explore other ventures and projects.
