I actually missed this post, for some weird reason, and its a common running theme among a lot of the commentary I see on this board. Inclduing some of yours, when it comes to what people seem to want in their RPGs. Quality, that's what people I want. really? I had absoulutley no idea that people wanted quality! Amaze me with another mind blowing revelation. Of course, then people have different opinions and tastes and hence different definitions of what quality is.

But I was asking about the head start, and that's not a head start. That's the exact same time the Normandy is using to fly to the Citadel. I should have been clearer myself, though. So, skipping over the preposterousness of Saren's voice being transmitted to every geth everywhere, and assuming that the geth who received it stumbled into Tali just about immediately -- you gotta sometimes swallow ridiculous coincidences like that in a series as silly as this one -- and assuming that Tall can extract the data in the same amount of time it takes the SR-1 to pick up Shepard, it's a race between the SR-1 and whatever ship Tali was riding in. How does Tali's ship win that? And was the dopey posturing really necessary?

It just matters is if it was a success or a failure to me. And to me it was a wild sucess. I mean hell I am quite sure we've had the 'personal opinion' conversation before. Where you criticized me for giving off my opinion as fact. Anyways the game hit the right chords with me, and back to a point I've made before, I don't need the media or other people or a popularity context to validate that opinion.

So if it only matters to you, then I assume that you will be receiving your own personalized SP DLC then right? Cause it was successful for you, then you should experience all the spoils that comes with a successful Bioware game like multiple SP DLCs and an incoming sequel. Right?

You completely missed what colfoley was saying, didn't you? My point was that no matter how much you try to separate it and make it individualized, you are still dependant on the collective group. You enjoy the game and could careless about what others think and you wanted SP DLC and even a MEA2 featuring Ryder, but at the end of the day, what others think still had an affect on the future of MEA and ME as a whole.

Meh I really doubt the collective consciousness really had that much to do with MEA not getting SP DLC. I think EA just made their choice to try milking the game through MP microtransaction bs.

There's little this thread is adding beyond yelling at people with different views.
In 10 pages the differing positions have been successfully articulated.
We're done here.
